Insane conspiracy theories are surprisingly popular. Recently I was talking to a family friend, I guess in her 70s (but not old, you know), very smart, someone I like a lot. Originally from England. She was explaining how she'd once talked to some chap who'd confided in her that MI5 (or M16, I'm not clear on the difference) had pulled off a lethal bombing back in the day so they could pin it on the IRA. "??!!??", I asked. "Oh, that's just what governments do" she explained. Now I'm as into realpolitik as the next armchair warrior, but jeez.

I really have to emphasize that this woman is in no way a moron or a freak.

Precisely why so many know-it-all’s that bite into whatever government, scientists, teachers tell them as truth should pay a little attention to what seemingly rational others have to say, at least part of the time.

Conspiracy is a valid term because it applies to something real. Some if not most conspiracy theories are crazy, some are half truths, and some are indeed true. Historical records have proven some of them to be true long after the event. Remember McCarthy?

One’s interests should be at least minimally peaked when there appears to be any sort of cover-up. JFK fits the bill, as does Obamba’s forged birth Certificate, and indeed many elements of 9/11.

Imagine the world we would live in if no one at all ever bothered to ask a few questions about questionable things. Hmmmm I suppose a little like this one, where skeptics are laughed at and governments can get away with bloody murder all they wish.

MI5 is roughly equivalent to the FBI with the counter espionage portfolio, protecting Britain from foreign espionage and securing her secrets.
MI6 is roughly equivalent to the CIA, tasked with gathering intelligence from foreign sources outside Britain.

Obviously there is a TON of questionable evidence to prove that there is something wrong with the Governments version of 9/11 events, you listed one of the biggest ones.

For me, I didn't think anything wrong with the government’s story, until I watched building 7 collapse for the first time and the private investigation by the society of professional engineers. Plus the destruction of all the material evidence after the cleanup, namely that the structural steel was immediately sold and shipped to China.

Nothing gets my spidey senses going more than destroying or hiding evidence.

The main reason for knowing something’s very wrong with Obambas birth certificate and court sealed personal records. There is absolutely no valid reason in the world to spend 2 million dollars to hide something that you should be proud of, much less the public’s right to view considering the elected office being kept. If he can’t show his legitimate documents including birth certificate, he should step down to allow someone who can and will.
