The World Is Being Run By Crazy People

A potential recycling program - Australia's chief climate commissioner calls for yanking the mercury fillings from your grandma's dead mouth ... so that it may be injected into your light bulbs, apparently.

There was a bunch back in the 40's that used to mine the teeth of the dead, hell of a good idea!

And if they happen to have any valuable rings or jewellery on them, well, they won't need it,so the State can just quietly take it. Who's gonna know?

It's not really grave robbing, governments haven't stooped that low ,yet.

'Love letters' from Dr Mengele I presume...?

Well I gather it's a good thing that CO2 is NOT gassing the planet.

Do these clowns ever get up in the morning, look in the mirror and say to themselves; "You know I really should take my anti-psychotics this morning!"

Yeah like spraying dandelions is an enviro-mental threat. More junk science.......

dmorris and Hans, exactly. Do these people not see and understand? Can they actually stoop that low as to do what the Nazis did in the environ-fascism?

sasquatch, I sprayed the dandelions on our yard last week. :-) They look a little droopy today, even after another 3/4 inch of rain.

I agree with removing the mercury amalgam fillings before cremation. 31 tons of amalgam (15.5 tons of mercury) were sold in the US in 2001.

This should allow a 10 to 20% increase in coal fired electricity generation in North America. Maybe Sask Power will come up with a program to replace mercury fillings in order to get credits for their coal plants.

well...that just proves it...

so much for suzuki's latest drivel...claiming that 'climate deniers are illiterate' or the equivalent...I couldn't bring myself to read past the opening sentence because it was so badly written...

...“As respondents’ science literacy scores increased, their concern with climate change decreased,”...

The quiz, containing 22 questions about both science and statistics, was given to 1,540 representative Americans. Respondents who were relatively less worried about global warming got 57 percent of them right, on average, just barely outscoring those whose who saw global warming as a bigger threat. They got 56 percent of the questions correct.
