It's America's shame that it took 11 years to get this far.

I visited New York in 1997 and went to the twin towers like any other tourist. In March of 2002 I went to pay my respects. Seeing this building go up, I have mixed emotions. I am impressed with its architecture and the resolve required to construct it but I wonder when the inevitable attack from the same savages that succeeded in destroying the twin towers will come and in what form.

Took far too long to construct, but at least it is now nearly done.
