Ive said for years that their is a war on Women. Coming from both Islamic sources along with leftist ideology. Its generals are the Marxist Feminists. The question is, do you fight for the "pro-life" side of things; or, do you take the "oh well" side of things in hopes that the "pro-choice" folks will see the hypocrisy of their POV?

When I was first aware of this issue in BC with Asians, my instincts were to argue that "if a fetus isn't a human, then it should matter not what the reason is", in hopes of shedding some light on the silliness of the argument that a fetus isn't a human. Unfortunately, when dealing with Leftist pro-lifers, they will simply contort themselves into all kinds of unnatural shapes to avoid recognizing the hypocrisy of their stance. In realizing that I'll never be able to "shed light" on one that doesn't wish to see; I've decided the more consistent position to hold would be to support any position that will prevent an abortion.

That said, it’s a difficult circle for the Leftist to square, since they’d obviously be against aborting a girl because she’s a girl(extrapolate that to gay), but have no qualms about the abortion of a mental retard.

I believe that it’s their narcissistic belief that they can be nothing but “open minded” which muddy’s the philosophical waters for them. Therefore hypocrisy and denial become the weapons of last resort for these self righteous god men, or at least the ones that blow-horn their values down everyone else’s throats.

Not unlike the hard core Liberal loons attempting to identify themselves as libertarian, or with classical liberalism. It’s funny that the same people tend to overlap their religious and political zealotry and then sell it out as something else.

As far as abortion, I only care that I’m forced to fund it through Universal Health care. I could care less if the Liberal Progressive left wants to kill off millions of black babies. Other than that I’d never advocate abortions for anyone I know without a specific medical reason, it’s disgusting and immoral in the sense of shooting a deer in the head or cannibalism.

Yea well the people promoting and doing the abortions consider themselves the most educated people around. They in turn have been educating and funding over 40 years of Liberal Progressive society to also see it their way.

What I tell women is that they have to decide about getting an abortion before 16 weeks and preferably much earlier. If I had a woman ask me about a sex selective abortion I'd tell her to find another doctor. IMO, sex selective abortions constitute unprofessional conduct by a physician and I'd have no problem reporting any physician who condoned this practice.

I also tell women who are contemplating an abortion about their increased risk of breast cancer from having an abortion as well as the risk of depression associated with the procedure. That's stopped a few of them from having an abortion.

For alcoholic women, having an abortion is the best thing they can do as the last thing we need is more FAS children. From a societal viewpoint, having a balanced sex ration is optimum. Perhaps the adherents of sex-specific abortion are trying to get back to the paleolithic environment where 1/3 or more of males died in physical combat with other males - generally over which male got to mate with a particular woman. This might have been fine in an era where a large proportion of women died during childbirth, but I thought we were more advanced than that.

Maybe the TV networks are desperate to bring back viewers and. to do so, will bring back gladiatorial combats where the survivor gets to mate with a highly desirous woman. That's the most likely outcome of a population demographic with excess males; not the sudden desire for males to become interior decorators and lust after other males.
