But who will bell the cat? A quick look shows that concealed carry should be legal in Maryland, but this is a bomber rather than a boxer or knife-wielding thug. If he were to be shot out of hand for being in his target's neighbourhood while he doesn't actually have a live bomb on him, the shooter goes to jail for a long, long time (possibly for murder 1). He appears to fit the description of the legendary Texan victim that "some men just need shooting", but he appears to have been careful about how open he is with his threats.

You know what makes me laugh? All the idiots I've argued with over the years (like Davenport!) who said I was some kind of paranoid because stuff like this could never happen.

Hey, idiots! Here it is, happening. Second amendment not looking quite so 200 years ago now, eh?

We don't live in a free and civil society anymore. Plan accordingly.

Phantom, you are right in saying this kind of stuff happens. These people are bound and determined to have their way with us. You are also right with what you say in your last sentence.

Thanks Ken. Really we don't have to go down to the USA to look for this, we have it right here at home by the shovelful. Kate and Kathy Shaidle are embroiled in -exactly- this situation brought about by another couple of barratrists who shall remain nameless.

Of course going in Kate and Kathy's favor is that the individuals in question lack any sort of intestinal fortitude, either of them would lose a slap fight with a ten year old girl. Also, and not to be overlooked, the Liberal Party these scum work for has already LOST here. They're swinging in the breeze with lots of CPC officials quietly looking for ways to hammer them.

Stacy McCain's situation is somewhat more unstable.

On the bright side, McCain's attackers may be filled with rage and the urge to attack, but they don't seem very -clever-, if you take my meaning. Going after somebody with demonstrably frivolous lawsuits suits while at the same time playing the fake pizza order game with SWAT teams, harassing wives and kids with traceable phone calls, sock-puppeteering on the web... these guys are leaving a neon trail a mile wide that nobody could miss. Not even cops who are -trying- to miss it could miss it.

My guess is the DemocRats are in full desperation mode. The True Believers have stopped relying on their friends in High Places and have made the call to their friends in -low- places. Probably they have quite a few of those, so we'll likely see some more of this stuff.

The DemocRats are in free-fall since the MSM monopoly lost all four engines. They're thundering in at terminal velocity. The ripcord broke, the backup chute failed, and now that the ground is rushing up they're trying to make a speed brake with their pink underwear and the rainbow patch on their chute bag.

The impact is going to be impressive when they auger in.
