"The government you elect is government you deserve"

IBD;

IBD compared average job growth, unemployment, changes in housing prices, per capita income and GDP growth, and gas prices for the 22 states that voted for John McCain in 2008 and the 28 states that voted for Obama .

On every indicator but one, blue states have done worse, on average, than red states.

Karma: the Sanskrit word for "I told you so".

To be fair, it isn't Obama that's the cause of this. He's only the symptom.

These states are run by Democrats and their mindset and methods are what is causing the problems in those states.

I once heard an ad for the Alan Colmes radio show (Alan is the token Democrat on Fox News). A caller asked why is it that blue states are doing so much worse than red states. In typical Colmes histrionic fashion, Colmes says, "Oh... so that answers everything..." and cuts the caller off. I would listen his radio show just for that, but I just can't handle the torture of listening to the rest of his show.

The Blue States are mostly comprised of Left and East Coast large cities with high numbers of people residing in such places apparently without the need for employment including retirees. Many are rust belt post industrial union voter cities with a high component of ethnic ghettos. Most are traditional Democrat jurisdictions already failing from the rot.

Essentially Obama voters are those of the liberal elite (feminists, academics, media, Gay activists, communists), union zombies, Greens, minorities, and the botched and bungled wanting more free stuff.

If I might go out on a limb .......n'est ce pas?

It's the effect of liberal rot I'd say ...from the people who brought you all that "progress".

Too bad they are taking down a lot of decent people with them on their race to the bottom of the toilet.

Wonder if all those university students who voted for Obama realize that their own personal economic progress through life has been pushed back by at least 10 years.

Elections have consequences.

Obama won a few traditionally red states, so that's the flaw in the analysis. The gap should be bigger.

Message from this factoid:

Losers vote democrat.

What Gord said.......

"GDP: The one measure where blue states outperformed was in gross domestic product growth"

Nothing to do with Federal money being funneled into said blue states, I'm 'sure'.
