Michael Mukasey: Obama and the bin Laden Bragging Rights

Obama the warrior president.
(I no longer capitalize president as the current office holder has definitely turned it into a lower case position)
Here's America's current president and Israel's current Prime Minister in their twenties.

The further up the tree, the monkey climbs the more people can see his ass.

First President ever to pick a dead terrorist as a running mate.

Maybe his new name should be Obragger. Can't listen to anything he says anymore - it makes me cringe.

There's a difference between an AFRICAN-American and an African-AMERICAN.

I very much appreciate Mukasey's remarks about Eisenhower, the President that was in charge when I was young. Just his accomplishments in WW2 alone were enough to make him a quiet hero to us all.

Under Eisenhower, there was a general feeling of confidence as people knew they were well led by a man who had proven his abilities under fire.

Still my favourite President after all these years.

I like Ike.

Obama, I'm still in shock at how this amateur, who never accomplished anything significant in his entire career, just surfed on a wave of affirmative action, was chosen to lead the most important Country on the planet.

That was a very interesting informative interview.

rockyt wins the thread so far. There is not a whole lot of difference between Biden's and the dead terrorist's reasoning ability.

dmorris, I would have to agree. He never took any credit and was quick to praise others.

ET's assessment of Obama's super narcissism is correct. That is all Obama has, as there are no positive political or economic accomplishments.

And I suppose Bush landing on an aircraft carrier, with the banner 'Mission Accomplished' isn't spiking the ball? Really like how you wingnuts like to rewrite history. Oh, it's always nice to see your real motives displayed by referring to the prez as a monkey! Or AFRICAN American. Yeah, white supremacy doesn't exist in right wing politics!

The whole raid was a staged thing, they may have tapped one or two of Bin Laden's kids but numerous ex-CIA bureaucrats are on record as stating Bin Laden died of medical causes in 2006.

Add to this how Obama scap goated all involved in the raid, I figure it will just be a matter of rtime until some SEAL rats him out as a liar and the Bin Laden raid as a political fraud.

bill:

Neither Bush nor any of his entourage put up that sign.

Wouldn't want the facts stand in the way of your fantasy, though.

Speaking of running mates, here's what Osama bin Laden thought of Joe Biden. Can't say I disagree with him on this point!

That killing bin Laden story is so full of holes that only someone deeply deluded would buy it.

So Bill, maybe you could point out the re-writing of history for us, I didn't see anyone but you mention George Bush. and making a connection between a simple parable about a monkey climbing a tree to obama would confirm that you are a racist. you probably don't think you are a racist but you are most definitely a racist.

Hi Bill, Obamma is probably the worst president the usa has ever had, I never said the POS was a monkey, your words but you have me convinced. He will be remembered like people remember dog sh*t on the sidewalk. It stinks and its messy and folks with a brain walk around it. The Further Up THe Tree The MONKEY climbs the more everyone can see his ass. It means the more we see of this guy and the more we learn about this guy, the worse it gets....

O = pathological narcissist.

O lives in O's own Fort Brag "with "I", "my", "myself", and "mine*".

...-

O: "I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority . . . even as I continued our broader effort. . . . Then, after years of painstaking work by my intelligence community I was briefed . . . I met repeatedly with my national security team . . . And finally last week I determined that I had enough intelligence to take action. . . . Today, at my direction . . ."

Michael Mukasey.

...-

"*The narcissist brags incessantly. His speech is peppered with "I", "my", "myself", and "mine"."

Dear set you free;

Do you want the Western world to become communist?

It's a yes or no question.

For bill:

George W. Bush speech after capture of Saddam Hussein:
"The success of yesterday's mission is a tribute to our men and women now serving in Iraq. The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the Dictator’s footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Our servicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the nation, I thank the members of ourArmed Forces and I congratulate them."
(Notice that the only time President Bush used the pronoun I was in thanking and congratulating others.)
Contrast that the O's speech that was full of "I" and no thanks to anyone.(Thanks Maz2)

Doowleb:

No. Is there something that would give you the opposite impression?

My mother was sent to Siberia as a 10-year-old because my grandfather was the equivalent of an MLA in the Czarist government. Therefore, he was an enemy of the people.

They lost everything. Although it was tragic for them, I'm glad to be in Canada and continue to fight anything that even looks like communism ... that includes the NDP.

Any other questions?

Speaking of Bush and aircraft carriers, I'm reminded that Bush was a fighter-jet pilot while this incident shows Obama to be a dishonorable coward. Americans have elected a sniveling, yellow, beady-eyed, unmanly, weasel for president. No real man would claim credit for the success of those under him while secretly composing a memo blaming them if they failed. The sooner this insect slithers back into the dark, moist crevice he wiggled out of, the better.

When I went through boot camp we had a guy who took credit for other peoples work but nobody wanted to squeal because officers were supposed to be honorable.

At the end of the. Ourselves there is a Peer Review and 30 out of 31 reviews on this guy said he was a moron, a coward, a cheater and detested by everyone.

He was kicked out the next day and booted out of the military.

We can only hope Obama gets his Peer Review in November.

Nothing is worse than taking credit for other people's work.

"...the president does not seem to have addressed at all the possibility of seizing material with intelligence value—which may explain his disclosure immediately following the event not only that bin Laden was killed, but also that a valuable trove of intelligence had been seized, including even the location of al Qaeda safe-houses. That disclosure infuriated the intelligence community because it squandered the opportunity to exploit the intelligence that was the subject of the boast."

The Comedian-in-Chief would rather signal to his enemies that it is time to run, rather than successfully trap them.

He should stick to the late night talk show circuit, it would be a lot more profitable in provoking laughter.

But hey, when lives are at stake why would one ever give consideration to discretion as the better part of valour?

Shakespeare, in Henry IV, Part One, 1596:

Falstaff: 'The better part of valour is discretion; in the which better part I have saved my life.'

Prince Obama has never once risked his life or comfort for the sake of another human being.

Of all the hands, heads, and hearts that participated in the killing of bin Laden, his contribution was among the slightest.

Barrak Hussein Obama reciting vowels in Kenya,grade4:

"A,E,I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I..."

Mukasey's revelation of the 'blame' memo is most telling, as is his blame/credit description that seperates heroes from wussy, narcissistic opportunists.

set you free @ 11:50, well said.

Excessive celebration draws a flag.

I will echo dmorrises sentiments on Eisenhaur, with additions. He was the best American president for Canadas interest in history. He built the interstate highway system, helping Canada to join east and west on the scale of the transcontinental railroads. He rewarded Canada for our support of the USA in Suez by signing the North American auto pact and many more pro Canada decisions. On the world scale, his advisers wanted the US to take Frances place in French Indo China(Vietnam),to which he said NO we cant win a war in that area. When Kennedy was elected Ike said,"that SOB is going to take us to war in Asia", which he did.

"First President ever to pick a dead terrorist as a running mate"

Yep. Zero is banking on the fact that OBL dead will give more intelligent sound bytes than Biden, alive

but....but....it was 'bama that had all the ideas and then did all the work to find bin laden and finally killed him with his bare hands...wasn't it ?

of course, 'Rebecca' will have her real name conveniently leaked in 'bama's next speech, guaranteeing her a safe and quiet retirement...

http://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/manhunt-the-ten-year-search-for-bin-laden-from-911-to-abbottabad-by-peter-l-bergen/2012/05/04/gIQAyCYV1T_story.html?tid=sm_twitter_washingtonpost

In 2005, a CIA analyst named Rebecca (a pseudonym) wrote a memo laying out a new strategy for the hunt for Osama bin Laden. Given the absence of any real leads, she asked, how could you plausibly find him? She sketched out what she saw as four pillars on which the search needed to be built. Her solution turned out to be prophetic.

“The first pillar was locating al-Qaeda’s leader through his courier network,” Peter L. Bergen writes in his new book, “Manhunt.” “The second was locating him through family members, either those who might be with him or anyone in his family who might try to get in touch with them. The third was communications. . . . The final pillar was tracking bin Laden’s occasional outreach to the media.”

We know now, of course, that finding bin Laden’s personal courier, Abu Ahmed al-Kuwaiti, is what led the United States to the compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, and, with that, ended the decade-long battle of wits between the terrorist leader and U.S. intelligence agencies.

Obama. The true symbol of the Metro-sexual age. No buck stops at his desk unless its good news. The President who brought killing the messenger back in style. A no risk portfolio kinds guy.

Obama's no leader.

All you have to do is put him beside true leaders, Lincoln and Eisenhower, and his shortcomings become glaringly obvious. Oblahblah's the imposter president, the cuckoo in the nest.

The cuckoo is a brood parasite which lays its eggs in the nests of other birds.

... but you are most definitely a racist.
Posted by: bdoggins at May 5, 2012 11:22 AM

NO, bdoggins. As with me, it probably didn't even occur to Bill that he was being racist in mentioning the monkey. This is a well-known line for taking down social, political and financial risers, esp. those who rose for reasons not related to skill or achievement: like Obama and Biden (see, black & white). Said monkey can be white, brown, yellow or black.

What's interesting is that YOU made the Obama/monkey association which suggests that, perhaps, it's you who's the racist (though I don't use that shopworn word much).

Bill, your president claims blackness but has no history of American slavery. He is a parvenu, he is running on skin color alone.

Showbama- just another Hollywood war hero...

Boy, I really stirred up a hornet's nest! Rednecks haven't been so annoyed since they took Hee Haw off the air. Nice try trying to convince me (or maybe yourselves)that referring to an african american as a monkey is not racist. Not enough oxygen getting to your brain under that white hood, huh? All Kinds of Krazy Kooks out there! I also found your trying to convince me dubya was a great prez very entertaining. Not intellectual, just entertaining. Kinda like Sun News!
