This is near the tipping point for the US. Once the takers exceed the 50% point, the Producers are in the minority, and the death spiral begins.

This is the country obama wants: Welfare America. Foodstamp America. Handout America. And the bigger that the government gets, the smaller the private sector shrinks, and the process hastens.

Somebody said it accurately on this site, regarding November: either obama is finished, or America is.

There are a lot of Americans moving up here (Vancouver Island.) Unfortunately, the Earth Initiative and U.N. Agenda 21 have extended their sticky tentacles onto this island and the small Gulf islands. If radical leftists like Elizabeth May and her mentor Maurice Strong have their way, the nanny state will prevail here, too.

The statistic is less significant than say an equivalent number who pay no federal income tax.

The equivalent statistic in Canada would be 100% due to Health care alone.

Conservatives don't usually switch voting preferences because they happen to live in a household where someone is on Social Security, V.A. benefits or Medicare.

About 26 percent of those getting checks are Social Security retirees.

Most of them know the Democrats have raped their ponzi SS scheme,
and plan to suck 500 billion more out of Medicare to fund doles on Medicaid with their 5 trillion dollar drunk spending party over three years.

If the democrats think they will get 51 percent of the senior vote this November they need to flush out their frigging headgear..

There is no such thing as givers and takers anymore. Government is a "circulator." It takes from everyone, gives to everyone, and demands appreciation in the form of votes and vigorish.

People become wealthy only by deftly managing the inflows and outflows.
