His solution to the Holocaust was that the Jews should commit mass suicide, which, as a Jew, I find, you know, not all that helpful. And certainly I don’t consider it to be a pragmatic position.

It’s not a pragmatic non-ideological position. It is a wild-eyed fanatical position. But because it’s said by a dude in a sari, you know, who cared more about bowel movements than sex, and all that kind of crazy stuff, people sort of take it at face value that it was the sort of decent high-minded thing.

So people ask all the time: what would Gandhi do? And frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass what Gandhi would do…

Another witness in the Breitbart death/autopsy disappears -

"A private investigator has been unable to find the only eyewitness to the sudden death of media innovator and conservative activist Andrew Breitbart.

Then, within hours of the release of Breitbart’s preliminary autopsy report, Michael Cormier, age 61, a forensic technician who worked as a photographer in the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, died suddenly from what is suspected to be arsenic poisoning."

Police and social workers were last night accused of failing to investigate an Asian paedophile gang for fear of being perceived as racist, allowing them to prey on up to 50 young white girls.

The nine men from Rochdale were yesterday convicted of abusing five vulnerable teenagers after plying them with alcohol, food and small sums of money in return for sex.

However, the true number of victims, who were "passed around" by the gang, is likely to be nearer to 50, police have admitted.

Greater Manchester Police and the Crown Prosecution Service have now apologised after they failed to bring the case of the first victim - Girl A - to trial following her cry for help in August 2008.

One 13 year-old victim became pregnant and had the child aborted while another was forced to have sex with 20 men in one night, Liverpool Crown Court heard.

Complaints to social workers and the police were ignored because they were "petrified of being called racist", former Labour MP for Keighley Ann Cryer said.

So the BC Liberal government has decided that due process and justice are interfering too much with the collection of traffic fines so they are proposing an "admininstrative process" for disputing traffic tickets. Already in BC if a cop thinks you have a cellphone to your ear, even if you're just scratching your face you could get a fine. Happened to my wife, she disputed it and lost because officer bob swears he saw her on her phone. The fact that her bill shows no calls on that day was not enough proof in the judge's mind that she was innocent. Now they can just do away with the pesky judge and do an "administrative review".

Next up it will be "administrative searches" just like at the airport. More social justice for all. BTW Alberta you'll be next.

Remember when First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by Alameda a few months back, to participate in a commissioning ceremony for a new Coast Guard cutter she sponsored? Well, it turns out the brand-new, half-billion dollar cutter has sprung a few leaks.

The Associated Press is reporting that the Dorothy Stratton, one of three massive national security vessels homeported in Alameda, has a trio of “pinholes” and a fourth hole that’s about the size of a golf ball in its hull. The wire service said the ship’s crew discovered the holes and rust in mid-April, just a few weeks after the ship was commissioned, while working off the coast of Los Angeles.

Captain Charles Cashin told the wire service that temporary repairs have been made and that the ship needs to be dry docked in order to make permanent repairs.

Last week, a fire badly damaged the home of a new Fisker Karma owner, and authorities are saying that the electric car was the source of the blaze.

According to Fort Bend County, Texas, chief fire investigator Robert Baker, the Fisker Karma started the fire that spread to the house.

“Yes, the Karma was the origin of the fire, but what exactly caused that we don't know at this time,” he said. The car was a complete loss.

According to Baker, the driver arrived home in the Fisker, pulled into the garage, and less than three minutes later the car was in flames. It reportedly was not plugged in at the time of the fire and the Karma's battery remains intact.

According to Baker, the Karma was a post-recall vehicle bought in April.

“This looks just like golf cart fires we have down here,” said Baker. The suburban Houston area has approximately 50 golf cart fires a year, he said.

“I've worked homicide scenes with less secrecy,” Baker added. “There have to be about 15 engineers down here working on this one.”

looks like 'bama finally fell off the fence...on the wrong side.

Virtually all of the voters who were going to vote for him because they wanted to see 'gay marriage' were already voting for him, so there's no gain...but a good chunk of those who were voting for him and don't want to see it could be gone.

There was no win for him in this and it's a mystery why he stuck his neck out, but it's good to see.

From the looks of it, he just lost a good percentage of the independant vote...but he manufactured yet another reason for his upcoming loss so he can say "it wasn't my fault"..or was he just mad at North Carolina and being petty as usual ?
