It's probably nothing,but I wandered over to this Bloomberg place and took a look at the status of the euro.

There appears to be a pronounced downward trend over the last couple of hours. Who knows,I'm not an expert in these matters,but maybe France opting for that slippery slope that finishes in a pool of Greece may have something to do with it.

Probably because both France and Greece have just voted in governments that take them even further to the left. I would not be surprised if the Euro took a hefty hit tomorrow.

peterj,there is no doubt about that. The euro will likely,IMHO,take up to a 3% hit in the next 24 hours,maybe more.
Most markets are not open yet,being a Sunday,but there is likely orders being made,and once they do open there will be a sell-off that will snowball.
The French will be waking to a financial hangover tomorrow,looking at their wallets and vowing to never vote socialist again.
Unfortunately,their actions will bring down the whole family. The German cousins will not be amused.
