Hey, I've got an idea.

Let's spend our way into prosperity.

Politically the French have a long history of disfunction....that why Clovis and Charlemagne down to Napolean to De Gaulle ruled with such firm hands.

Whether it is math, logic, or truth, The Liberal left hates reality, in fact can’t seem to face it, or seem to understand it - all their other hatreds and self abusing actions fall into place thereafter.

Wonder Who our official opposition Leader Muclair voted for? Maybe someone could ask him that! Question period?

What's the answer to the ill effects of socialism?

More socialism!

Europe's poor economic situation explained by measurements on the Work-o-Meter, work analyzing machine.

A. Really, really hard worker.

B. Really hard worker.

C. Hard worker.

D. Worker.

E. Union worker.

F. Lazy worker.

G. Unemployable Occupier.

H. Our cultured cousins, the Europeans.

Seeing how all these nations claim to be socialist or some form of Marxist style collectivism, and as such have centrally planned economies and demand economics, there seems little doubt who and what to blame.

Will Euro "Youth" get it? Not bloody likely if they've been lobotomized by public education like our Kommie Kinder have been. They probably think that when bad systems and policies cause hardships it's because we just didn't go far enough with utopian socialism/communism - like as if there's only one solution to all problems; more of the same bad policies which caused the mess.

This is the generation of conditioned useful idiots who will put up with any amount of self-depravation to avoid any truths which break their conditioning - and the political elite class just love it - wouldn't change a thing.

I'm old enough to vividly remember the 1970's, when politicians in both Europe and North America told us that we could "grow" our way out of a sluggish economy by rapidly increasing government spending and with "mild" inflation. That "mild" inflation quickly got out of control, and we spent most of the 1980's just trying to correct that prior stupidity. Are we headed down the same path yet again? It seems that way.

I sold all my Euro paper years ago. So obvious what's going to happen.

In the unhampered market economy all unemployment is voluntary.
- Ludwig von Mises

[Obviously this doesn't refer to short term transitional unemployment -- there's always some "frictional" unemployment; not taking a job that's "beneath" you however is voluntary unemployment as it holding out for a pay level you think you deserve 'cos you once had it].

This is the single most shocking economic TRUTH I've ever encountered. It takes zero skill in mathematics to understand this.

You need logic however, and they hate logic even more than maths. I mean, what is liberalism/socialism but alogical emotional incontinence.

These statistics say "war" to me!

Couple of days ago, someone posted a puzzling video from the Taiwanese group "NMA". Here's another that's slightly easier to understand:

Europeans always find a dictator when they need them. The first thing is that they have to be socialist and the next have a strong will. They will follow them like sheep following a goat.

Frank Q. I like your work-o-meter. However I believe you have Union Worker and Lazy Worker in the wrong order. IMHO.

And Redford wants to do away with some of the Provincial testing in Alberta schools. That will help keep us ahead of the EU.

re: Europeans

Europeans are also inhabitants of Eastern Europe. And about 30% of young people from there go looking for work (and finding it) in Western Europe. And majority of them work very hard, and do earn better money than they could earn in their countries. (there is still quite a large difference between earnings in Eastern Europe and in Western Europe).
So you should not generalize.

Nothing a little ol' war can't solve, as it has throughout most of history. Great for the armament industry, full employment, great benefits for the winners, reset for all expectations in life, gets rid of the riff raff, eliminates concern about second hand smoke and obesity, eliminates all unions and the EPA will get new uniforms as they will no longer be needed. The take over Wall sreet crowd will get their wish regarding usefull employment and the paycheques will roll in as soon as they get to boot camp. Global warming will no longer be a concern as industry shifts gear to make warm clothing for the Nuclear winter possibility. Even Volts will sell like hotcakes as you can plug in a 12v lightbulb which will be a nice little man cave to live in until the battery dies. Windpower will see new benefits as you can park your Volt under it and eat bird meat, fresh, daily. So much more , but you can see the possitives of western society crashing under a mountain of debt. There is a silver lining in every black cloud. Even the gay pride parade can be launched against Muslims to terrorize them. See ?...we just have to think outside the box. Tin foil hat OFF....but kept within reach.

Unemployment rose from 1.6 million in October 1929 to 6.12 million in February 1932. 33% percent of the workforce were now unemployed.

...

Some of those European countries are getting pretty ripe for upheaval...

Cloward-Piven Strategy Working Perfectly in Europe

pjmedia.com/tatler/2012/05/06/cloward-piven-strategy-working-perfectly-in-europe/

I worry. While movements like OWS are not igniting the fumes of mass discontent ablaze, Greece has exampled for us what those unemployment numbers amongst the youth combined with continuing discontent from non achievable solutions generally could ferment into globally.

Additionally some natives's negative stirrings against the various "Gastarbeiter" groups has already been seen and will not be set aside with what ails many an economy.

I see black before I see white.

Think of what would have happened if, in Britain in 1979, the electorate had voted to stick with Jimmy Callaghan instead of electing Margaret Thatcher. I don't mean to suggest that Sarkozy is like Thatcher at all, but Hollande sure sounds a lot like Callaghan.

Oh, the Greeks know math better than the Germans do, I think. A cannot purchase A plus B, and with the Germans increasingly unable to justify funneling bailout funds into Greece to make the B payments---otherwise known as service of Greek government theft bonds---a majority of the Greek people have figured out that their only option left is to renege on the B payments and tell the European banksters that if they want Greece, they can come fight for it like men. They voted accordingly. Greece has gone crazy (or rather come to her senses) just like Alberta in 1935.

If you think being starved to death or driven into exile is what the Greeks deserve, though, don't worry---as in Alberta, no efforts is being spared to see the results don't count. New Democracy, the collaborationist "conservative" party, will spend three days going through the motions of trying to form a government before forcing a new election. They are under strict orders not to make any meaningful concessions to the patriotic parties. The plan is to repeat the process until ND and PASOK (the socialist party) have a majority between them and can continue the Romanianization of Greece, the patriotic parties be damned. EU referenda work the same way.

Seems to me all hell is about to break lose in the EU.

They really are thinking like Quebecers aren't they, n'est pas ?

Hans and some others are probably right. This whole mess is building up to another big one. Socialism is working exactly as planned an upheavals are coming.

The US is becoming too weak to do much about it.

Could get interesting when you add radical Islam into the mix.

Wonder if my uniforms still fit?
