It's Probably Nothing

"Ontario is telling sellers of shotguns and rifles to keep paper records of all the people who buy long guns at their stores... "

I suggest private and/or out of province purchases! Trades etc.

Expect anything in McGuinty's Ontario. He hasn't got a pot to pi** in due his gross mismanagement.

Interference in every facet of the lives of the Ontario people is par for the course, he can find the time and money for such crap while industries are bailing out of the province.

You can always rely on the Liberal Progressive left to subvert the law whenever they feel it suites their convenience.

This is why we must maintain our freedom and rights to own firearms, to protect ourselves from their tyranny, whether it’s filling our streets with the worst of societies predators or not allowing ourselves to protect ourselves from them.

The Liberal Progressives want your wealth and your submission. There is no other way to honestly view their tyrannical actions in our society.

Knowing McGinty...he's probably going to find a way to TAX them.

After all....he's dug himself such a hole already, he's going to have to raise taxes eventually...regardless of what he's said in the past. Face it...the man has always been a liar.

For Alberta gun owners that are passionate about firearms and who voted for UN Progressive Liberalism this last election:

If you get harassed or in trouble for doining absolutely nothing wrong but be a firearms owner, just remember that Danielle Smith promised to insure that she would place a firearms friendly CFO in charge of provincial firearms management.

The provinces can't change Federal mandates, but they surely can and do work with them or around them. You picked the UN Global Dissarmament agenda if you voted Alison Redford, enjoy.

I can see why McGuinty would want to know where the guns are . . .

"the store doesn’t have to verify that you have a firearms licences. They just have to be satisfied that you have one.”

Yes, you bloody politicized liar,AND they "satisfy" themselves by asking to see your FAC or PAL. If you don't produce one, they won't sell a gun to you.

As one commenter at the link said," how can you tell when a cop is lying? His lips are moving".

Now you all know why the NRA fights tooth and nail to not change one comma or period in the 2nd amendment. They know give a leftard a 1/64 of an inch, they will steal a thousand miles. They can't help it.It is in the mentally diminished, commie way their brains work.Liberalism really is a mental dis-order.

I can see why McGuinty would want to know where the guns are . . .

Especially on the day they raised our hydro prices again!

Inquiring minds will be wanting to know just who is buying pitchforks next...

If the gun retailers are willing to sit back and take it, then they deserve starvation.

I don't know anyone whom, given the choice between buying privately with no records vs. buying retail with a record, would choose option 'b'.

The CPFI is fraudulently intimating this is an order attached to the provincial licencing of firearms retailers - He is completely out of his authority to demand this and he is quite illegally enforcing a law which was repealed by parliament. The post C19 firarms act has no requirement to keep any record of lawful unrestricted sporting arm sales - personal sales between individuals need do nothing but check the buyer has a valid PAL - NO RECORD OF THE SALE OR THE BUYER'S PAL NUMBER IS REQUIRES - C10 ORDERS ALL RECORDS LIKE THIS BE DESTROYED. Now, the inunction by Quebec only temporarily suspends the federal records from destruction and ony those with Quebec addresses. Outside quebec it is now illegal for police to keep records of firearms sales/owners.

I can hardly wait to see what Adolph McGuinty and his evil little flying monkey the CPFO of Onterrible does about all the sales between individuals at gun shows - if he steps in there he will get his fingers rapped again by Towes. Basically retailers can tell the

What? Daddy Dalton has a problem with the flock arming themselves?

Sorry that should have read "CPFO". I would suggest Ontario gun owners send this information on to Vic Towes - inform him there is an Ontario CPFO not complying with the law the way it was reflected in the posr C19 firearms act. Stalin McGuinty may have hired this bureaucratic wiggler but Towes can fire him for a number of protocol infractions.

They already do this for bb guns.

Any and ALL Federal funds that go anywhere near the CFO's offices should be axed from the budget as an austerity measure.

The ladies in the offices aren't the problem. It's the unelected commiecrat in his chekist uniform.

Shouldn't the maintaining of this data base be reported as a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada? I urge any SDA reader in Ontario do so.

hard to do unarmed...

lovely article here....
http://www.frontline.org.za/articles/Faith%20and%20Firearms.htm

To limit a person’s access to lethal weapons is to limit his ability for self and family defence. Weapons control interferes with our basic right and responsibility for self-defence. Ultimately gun control can deprive you of your right to life. The right of citizens to use lethal force to defend themselves is a great deterrent to thieves and attackers.

Those who choose not to have firearms still benefit from those who do. If only one in twenty people are armed, it still acts as a restraint on potential attackers who are not certain who is armed, and who is not. The deterrent value of armed citizens against crime cannot be overestimated.

The laws of King Cnut (1020-1023) declared self-defence to not only be a right, but a duty. Those who failed to assist a person under attack were to be fined. Similarly, anyone who “illegally disarms a man” were to be fined.

The Magna Carta of 1215, the first written restriction on the powers of government, and the grandfather of all Bills of Rights, guaranteed the right of all free men to bear arms.

The English Declaration of Rights of 1689 recognised “the right of having and using arms for self preservation and defence.” Other free states entrenched this right to obtain, own, carry and use weapons for self defence, including most notably the United States of America and its Bill of Rights. So important and basic was this considered by the American Founding Fathers that they placed it in the Second Amendment – straight after religious freedom!

and since virtually all politicians claim to be churchgoers, even 'bama...

Genesis 4 records the first murder when Cain killed Abel. God’s response was not to ban rocks, knives, clubs, or whatever murder weapon may have been used, but to banish the murderer. It is the murderer’s heart that is the problem, not the weapon used.

“Do not be afraid of them, remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.” Nehemiah 4:14

No wonder liberals love criminals so much. They share the same mind.

When people try to take away or otherwise restrict our guns, they ought to ponder the fact that we have guns, and they don't. That imbalance usually does not end well for those without guns.

Not a word from Tim Hudak.

Guess he's practicing for his next loss in the next election.

Bemused, that was well said.

Frank Q...... for sure.

I believe there is a general meeting with Ontario CFO Chris Wyatt and all the gun clubs in Ont on May 5. You can bet there will be some grilling of the CFO boys and we will know exactly what their plans for us are.

Wanna bet that Canuck Tire is the first to comply with the sales registration request? They were the first out in the Left Coast to stop selling long guns when the McCarthyism began. I refuse to shop there as a result.

How is this going to stop organised crime or drug gang violence?

Why waste resources on this when one can tackle real crime? If you don't look like a deer, you have nothing to worry about from a law-abiding hunter.

Barbara said, "especially on the day that they raised our hydro prices again "

And what day would that be I wonder?

Why it would be one of the most important days on the Communist calendar.

Mayday.

Now let me think...Commie....Dalton McGuinty, Commie....Dalton McGuinty. Yep, that's got to be it.

Nothing happens by accident with this guy.

Just had a look at my FAC and it doesn't have an address on it - just my name and picture. So, what I suggest to all Ontario gun purchasers, is to supply McSquinty's address and phone # when they are asked to provide one.

As far as ownership of that address goes, it's the taxpayers of Ontario who are paying this morons salary and hence they own the moonbats residence. Thus, I'd have no compunction to give his address when asked for my address. Similarly, any taxpayer of Ontario is a part owner of that phone #.

If enough people do this, perhaps it would interest the federal justice minister enough to raid the address where thousands of guns are registered to ensure that they're being safely stored. A 03:00 raid "in the interests of public safety" would be amusing.

Isn't there supposed to be a division of powers in this country, so that governments don't duplicate their efforts and waste tax dollars? Not that it helps prevent federal, provincial and municipal economic, arts or tourism departments, to name a couple.

This matter should be EITHER federal OR provincial, and if the level that has jurisdiction passes on it, for another level to sneak in like this should be unconstitutional. If we were ever to get a constitution that is useful as something other than toilet paper, that is.

My nephew left Ontario a couple of years ago. Bought a shotgun with his HST transition cheque and never looked back. At the time I might have advised him to not be so hasty, but he knew when to leave.

This is SOP for Chris Wyatt and the OCFO. He has a long history of bullying firearms dealers into recording and/or reporting warrantable information for police benefit, or face having their stores shut down. Have an off-the-record conversation with some of the province's leading firearms dealers about how those conversations go down. Try buying some ammunition...

This would be one of those "teachable moments" we keep hearing about. Where we teach these scumbags not the f- with us anymore. They need to be defeated so bad I can almost smell it.

Spread the word, call your MP and MPP -personally-, be respectful, polite and Concerned. Send some actual paper letters in addition to the usual email.

I'll be posting something about this with names and addresses over at the Soapbox later today. Illegal action by the province is getting to be a habit around here. Time for the Cluebat.
