On 'The View' this morning (hey, my wife sometimes watches it) Obama was asked "who will win November's election?" and without pause or a beat, he said "I'm going to win".
Not a moment of reflection or any thought of alluding to the wisdom of the voters, just "I will".
Gawd I hope his hubris bites him in his nethers. Nothing would please me more than an 'unexpected' but very humiliating defeat.
Although he did complain (no, I did not watch The View, yeesh) that being named "Barack Obama" was going to make winning tough for him. He's kind of a moron.
A super narcasist should scare the begeebers out of all of us.
This guy and his ILK will try to steam roll over anyone trying to stop his reelection.
I have no doubt that they have many forms of fixing the vote ready.
If he gets to continue after the Nov. vote we are all in trouble.
Obama is Gods gift to....Obama. His Democratic handlers will confirm sometime before Nov. that God is actually a woman, and she's black. Watch for the bullet points in the new improved Bible.
There are days when I feel sorry for Michelle: Can you imagine living with Obama and his enormous ego unaccompanied by much intelligence?
As I said in another thread, though, I think she's content with the houses, clothes, bling, holidays, having a platform from which to say how much she hates America, and a guest list that sticks it to Whitey.
Such gems as: Washington couldn't tell a lie; Nixon couldn't tell the truth: Obama can't tell the difference.
Obama is a pathological narcissist. If he'd been left as a local community organizer, his pathology would have been..local. But put him in a position of power where it's impossible to control everyone and everything, which is what a narcissist absolutely must do...and there's trouble.
I think that as Obama feels that he is losing control, he'll slip more and more away from reality and into his Virtual World. That's the world he lives in, an imaginary world where he controls everyone and everything. Totally out of touch with reality.
His handlers will have to keep a tight rein on him, surround him with imaginary 'data' and events, and keep him cocooned with buffers to take the first questions, to try out the first tactics.
Will he be able to handle the debates, or will they be sabotaged? Or will his answers be so preset and filled with virtuality that people will ignore them? By ignoring them, I mean that people won't evaluate Obama's answers because they will be so 'weird' as to be beyond evaluation. When that happens, people might just dismiss the 'reality' of the debates.
Will the public be offered more and more of the Virtual Obama, more virtual accomplishments, like this list of Obama-as-the-Evolution of the US presidency? Yes. The election will move into the Virtual vs Reality.
I am starting to suspect that the reason the Dems and "the won" are so confident is that they have it in the bag due to their blocking of PHOTO ID and election fraud will succeed like it probably did in 2008.
Well, to corrupt the book of Genesis a little bit - the people created a god in their own image: hollow, lacking in analytical thought, narcissistic, utterly uncaring about the future, and plain dumb.
On a very serious note I fear that if the polls are going strongly against him four to five months from now what he will do to ensure that the election doesn't happen or he doesn't lose. Maybe he's already getting advice from Putin.
Fortunately, robw, there's no mechanism that Obama has to prevent the election. The constitution is pretty sound on that. His term ends on January 20, 2013, no ifs, ands, or buts. The next president must take office at that time. And I pray to God that it's anybody but him.
It's the 75 days or so post-election that scare me. If Obama does lose, his ego will be so shattered there will probably be nothing he won't attempt to do on his way out of office. He'll stack whatever boards he can with crony appointees, issue scores of executive regulations, funnel as much money as he can to Democratic lapdogs, make Clinton's pardons look amateur.. and probably whine & cry about it every single day until the 20th. And even after that. The world will be stuck with this rejected narcissist as an ex-president for the rest of his life. I don't even want to think about how much bullshit will spew from his mouth until the day he dies.
I think he is studying what Redford did in Alberta, so he can get a majority ... nobody expected it.
He will do/create something that people will vote for him, between September and November - but what crisis would people forget the past and vote for him ... time will tell.
I'll be relieved and pleased if Romney wins, but still somewhat concerned about the future of the country if it's close. This will mean that roughly half the electorate agrees with the obozo worldview, and it's a pretty stark contrast between that and what most of us consider American values.
Eisenhower started the Interstate system so the military could quickly move men and equipment in an emergency. Obama started the recession so there would be no civilian cars or trucks on the road to impede them.
Why this blog? Until this moment
I have been forced

In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice

There are two cuckoos in the American nest.
In the beginning, (the other) God made thought, so that we could worship Obama.
Then, he made language, so Obama could tell us how to behave.
Then Benjamin Franklin invented electricity so there would be something to run Obama's teleprompter.
The comments on the original thread are superb.

Either that or they are just stupid.

The Narcissist-in-cheif has spoken.
Mein gut, these lying commie pap smears will do anything, anything. This election cycle will be the dirtiest in history.

A great and dangerous percentage of "Americans" are quite happy to live in Obamba's fantasy world, in it he is their benevolent leader/master.
His virtual world is like the cultish online World of Warcraft, with millions of zombie like players remotely sharing in that "reality".
Garth, that was funny.
