Newsbusters; - On at least four occasions, MSNBC's Chris Matthews mocked Sarah Palin for how he felt she'd do if she were ever on the hit television game show Jeopardy!.
Enjoy.

Nevermind that Istanbul is 8 letters, How many cathedrals could there be in a country that is 99% Muslim you dumbass!
Wow...they were all kinda stupid.
You just sit there and they shoot themselves in the foot - Epic Fail.
I'd ask each start out with $50K, and then not answer one question, by the end of the night I'd have at least 50K and the lefties $0.00.
Chris Mathews is an abomination to humanity.
I watch Chris Matthews , Rachel, Sharpton, etc. at least once a week on MSNBC until my gag reflex starts to act up. I firmly believe a persons genetic makeup attracts a person to the right, left or center. Also find that the hard left has the inability to learn from history even when well versed on the subject, where as the right wing thinker sees lessons in the past and also knows the mistakes that can destroy a society are easily repeated. I find almost everyone on MSNBC to be a educated idiot. (except Sharpton who is just a idiot) Perhaps there is hope in the knowledge that viewer ratings for MSNBC have been at the bottom for years now and Fox News has been at the top for more than 12 years. Now if we could only get the people in the center to make a decision before Nov.6 we just might be alright.
Not as stupid as Wolf Blitzer, but still pretty stupid.
Reminder that these are focused categories, such that the answers should be in the wheelhouse of the set of celebutards they trot out for celebrity jeopardy.
Where's Will Ferrell and Darrell Hammond when you need them?
how does that song go?
Instanbul is ConstantiDopeHo
Wether claiming to be native american, having a conversation with ficticious homeless people,to tingles running down his leg, liberals sure do have a monopoly on B.S.
But, but he repeatedly called non-left women "empty vessels".
But, but he repeatedly said Sarah Palin would be a disaster on foreign affairs.
Sissy Chrissy should be thrown into the ring with women gladiators.
Media is the root of all evil.
I"ve said it before:
I'm sincerely trying to be charitable when I say this man has an undetected brain problem and needs a CAT scan or something asap.
Seriously. I'm afraid we'll all find out about this after he dies and we'll feel kinda bad about it.
Proving beyond a doubt, that Tingles has the IQ of a Swedish Turnip.
Never mind that Istanbul is not a capital either, umm, we have to be aware that Chris was following his training by not revealing any special awareness of details of Moscow. So that's good.
Isn't it?
Not in the least Kathy.
I have a neurological brain problem and get around it as best as possible and I REFUSE to let useless twits like chris matthews define the agenda should he be handed an excuse for stupid, by the findings of a cat scan.
His problem is poor upbringing...nothing more.
Reminds me of the old "Half-Wits" game show from SCTV...
Chris had the clue, "D.C.", and then guessed, "What is an American attorney?"
Yes, that was very enjoyable. WHAT an ignorant, stupid jerk!
P.S. The question was supposed to be, "What is a District Court?" (As in D.C., idiot!)
Reminiscent of Wolf Blitzer's epic fail where he ended the two rounds in negative numbers. They should've made him pay.
And to think that none of these foreign policy news-making elitists knew that St. Basil's cathedral is in Moscow. This kind of ignorance would explain many things.
Hey lets erect a plaque to Chris Matthews at 787 Dumbass St.
So Chris will be taking "The Thrill is Gone" for $6 trillion.
Cheers

See how wrong you can be Kathy. We WON'T feel bad at all-at least I won't.
I was on Jeopardy! against a five time champion (who later won the Tournament of Champions - he was smart and very fast on the buzzer), and I did better than Matthews.
Wotta maroon.
Rob - the Hagia Sophia is in Istanbul. Just saying.
Hey, give the putz a break...he did better than 'bama would have.
He lost on Jeopardy!, ba-a-a-a-aby...

Marty Davis from Chickaboomer.com (former DC media) says Matthews is probably a dry drunk.
He's also a confirmed diabetic, which is difficult to manage at the best of times, and people with low glucose (for example) will not be firing on all cylinders. Either issue alone, or both together, are probably catching up with him viz. cognition.
Rogue:
Low blood sugar? I'm a diabetic, and believe me, it doesn't come on that fast that you don't recognize it. Plus the green room has tons of snacks. He's just not that bright.
He's also a confirmed diabetic...

Uhhh, make that diuretic...
Laura - the Hagia Sophia is not a functioning church. It was a mosque for centuries until Ataturk turned it into a museum. Saith Wiki: "Today, use of the complex as a place of worship (mosque or church) is strictly prohibited.[35] However, in 2006, it was reported that the Turkish government allowed the allocation of a small room in the museum complex to be used as a prayer room for Christian and Muslim museum staff."
Toad @7:28 - yeah, I don't think I'll be too guilted out. Also, I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest he's just drunk a lot. I do occasionally try to be a nice person, though, and I believe one should have a kind word for everybody; in that spirit, I will share my opinion that Chris Matthews is marginally less repellant than Bill Maher. Marginally. On a good day.
All that being said, I'm usually pretty good at Sofa Jeopardy and I don't think I would have gotten any of those, except maybe the St. Basil's one.
(re. The Hagia Sophia: I should of course point out that both Christians and Muslims are required to pray five times a day, so that prayer room is obviously there for everyone's convenience.)
Me thinks he doth protest too much.
It's sour grapes, infatuation. Mr. Matthews, stop, think, take yourself in hand.

So am I. For 44 years. It can come on fast without recognizing it.
Suliman "the magnificent" made it absolutely clear he would not set foot in a Christian Church....because the extremists would then turn it into a mosque.
His Grand Vizier (Prime Minister) is reputed to have built more churches than the Byzantine Emperor Justinian....
Chris should have put the microphone in his PANTS to get better answers....
I watched the whole show and none of them did that badly. Matthews was often first on the buzzer with the wrong answer, something I frequently do when I play at home. Jeopardy is a tough game because you often over-think the question.
On the other hand, the game was tailor-made for these contestants to look good. The answers related to people and institutions that they should have been familiar with. It's like asking you Jeopardy questions about your employer, your home town, your friends, and people you work with. Only because most Americans are so oblivious to the inner workings of DC would they feel these questions were tough.
And I'm sorry to have to say this but Sarah Palin probably wouldn't have hit the buzzer once. I don't necessarily consider this a bad thing. Knowing that much about our government is almost a detriment.
Boy genius, though, was an epic fail. Not nearly as smart as he gives himself credit for.
Erp...
...sofa jeapordy sounds good...just sayin'...
Obviously the tingling down Mathew's leg these days is from incontinence brought on by premature senility.
I'll take washed up partisan hacks for $500 Alex.
