It's pretty tough to be in that situation, applying for a job that thousands of others want,and even worse,is after you make the first few "cuts",but don't make it in the end. The suspense can carry on for weeks. Very demoralizing.

Let's not misread that - there are 877 jobs, 20,000 applicants. I know of lots of jobs that receive say 300 apps for one job. Still that's a lot of unemployed people vying for those jobs.

Globalization seems much more of a Marxist ideal of a borderless world where labour could move freely ... for example, Mexicans who believe they are rightfully taking back what is theirs by moving back to the U.S. without going through the usual channels.

Also, the creation of privledged classes through labour unions. Didn't work in the Soviet Union, not going to work in monopoly delivery of labour ie public sector unions.

I agree with most of what you say, except this quote above. IMO liberal leftist's understand fully the end-game of their lunacy; they just expect to be dead before it hit's their own hides. And the motivation for this self-loathing idiocy, is their complete contempt for, and unwillingness to COMPETE.

I believe you are correct on one level, because like any tribal group you do have distinctions. The mentally ill left is no exception, in fact many of them work towards the very same goals for very different reasons. Example: Feminists/ Gay Lesbian/ Islam.

Where I didn’t give Iberia some small credit was with some so called right-wingers lining up with a few leftist ideologies as well. Indeed some do end up advocating some of the same destructive societal engineering practices like multiculturalism and open borders but for very different reasons than the left does. More than not it is due to some form of selfishness, greed, religious compulsion, or something else outside of cultural preservation and nationalism.

In a nutshell, whatever the destructive societal behaviour is, it only serves the true benefactors of globalization, the globalist power elites.
