Here’s what happened. The mainstream media – and here I’m talking principally of the Washington and New York City press corps – were so tired of Bush, and so infused with their holier-than-thou leftist superiority complex, that they just flat-out decided that Obama was going to be elected, and that they were going to shape their investigations and reporting to make sure that happened. There were some stories they would be unable to ignore -- Jeremiah Wright, for instance – but those stories would be given a sanitized treatment and buried as quickly as possible. Obama is the mainstream media’s president --- they invested their reputations and ethics in this guy, so he must be protected.

If we truly had a media that was interested in discovering and reporting on who Obama REALLY is, here is just a short list of some of the stories they would be covering:

Did Obama or his mother ever declare him to be anything other than an American citizen for the purpose of registering him in a school in either Indonesia or Hawaii?

Did Obama seek and receive a scholarship to Occidental College as a foreign student?

Did Obama ever write a law review article for the Harvard Law Review? If not, how was it he was named the president of that publication without ever contributing to it.

Has Obama ever publicly renounced his affections – clearly set forth in his book – for communist student groups and professors while in college?

Just what was the real nature of Obama’s relationship with communist domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn? Obama says he was just some guy that lived down the street. If so, why did Obama chose “some guy’s” living room to announce his entry into politics.

Has the Obama campaign dispatched attorneys and investigators to secure the release of court records and other information on major Romney donors?

Was Obama ever a genuine law professor? Or was he given a position and a course to teach at that law school to please some trustee of the school?

Let’s see the syllabus for the course on Constitutional law that Obama taught – either as an instructor or a professor. My understanding is that the course – the ONE course he taught – was limited to the 14th Amendment and its role in civil rights protests.

That’s just a start. If the media was really interested in telling us just who Barack Obama is those stories, and more, would be covered --- not just on obscure Internet websites, but on the pages of our major newspapers and broadcast network newscasts. The trouble is – as I’ve said – if they investigate these stories now they’ll have to explain why they ignored them four years ago; and the explanation won’t be pretty.

The liberals could never stand to see that Hispanic go free, innocent or not. They like them working in the fields and in their mansions as foreign domestic servants, not running around all uppity with a gun and some self worth.

No, those riots are being set up fully mindful of the damage that's going to occur. I think what they aren't prepared for is how those rioters are going to be received in Florida.

Heh heh, I went to one of my local gun shops the other day to pick up the new Ruger SR1911 so that I don't mile out my Kimber Gold Combat II before it's time ($2,700.00 versus $750.00). They told me that they have 17 sold on backorder and Ruger is not taking any more orders.

I saw a man who was clearly having trouble defending the indefensible.

That has to be a tough job. I have sympathy for Carney.
