The guy who was wearing his mom's hat at the end is typical of the loser left in Toronto. He is intentionally turning a blind eye to the fact that David Miller is rich and part of the one percent. Miller used his time as mayor to make contacts and enrich his own career and life while piling more debt and taxes onto the residents of Toronto. This moron defends Miller even though the guy made Toronto into a trash dump during the garbage strike and then caved to the unions. This seems to prove that most leftists would rather live in their own $hit than admit that their socialist beliefs are unaffordable and unsustainable. They won't be happy until Canada becomes a communist state where everyone is in poverty and miserable.

Listened to a debate on unemployment insurance.
Found it funny the polarization and hatred between the the city and the country. City hates the right wing country, and was all for, the forced relocation to where there are jobs, if you are on UI. Ect. move into the socialist city, were we can re educate you and give you a job. The country folks were more about the underlining problem. They are more into manufacturing not just consuming Chinese goods Walmart ect. The lumber mills have closed in the north moved to china, and now we only export lumber. Yet it maters little what they say as the city has all the vote.

That "240 square miles surrounded by reality" bit strikes me as being a little odd, just from what I know about my neighbors.

I live in a bedroom community north of the city, and it is surprising how many of my neighbors work for Metro Toronto or other government agencies: cops, teachers, transit drivers, social workers, "outside workers", whatever. It's really kinda creepy seeing just how many people here work for the state in one form or another.

And yet when elections roll around, they all have conservative signs on their lawns.

I wonder if they really vote that way, or if it's just camouflage.
