So, like Steyn and co. being mentioned by Breivik and somehow blamed by the consensus media for the Norwegian massacre, are Margolis and Dwyer going to be implicated in the thousands of terrorist attacks in the West?

Dyer was at my kids high school only a couple of weeks ago. The kids will tell you that my meme is if someone is trying to scare you they are trying to control you. The kids came home from the hysterical ranting speech chuckling. They saw exactly what I was talking about that day.

Margolis tries to spin that he's mentioned because he's knowledgeable which is of course balderdash. Sure he's an expert but he was chosen for his "objectivity". For example, Michael Scheuer is also an expert familiar to Bin Laden and the media but wasn't short listed as an al-Qaida amplifier.

When it comes to useful idiots Gwynne Dyer is hard to beat. Who can forget his predictions of 20 to 30,000 dead US and coalition soldiers upon contact with Sadam's "crack" troops during the first Gulf War. Being so far wrong is no impediment to the CBC because he's one of them. You might think those trained to be skeptical on the battlefield would have more sense, but labouring under political masters with a message to protect comes with a price.

If you go through Dyer's work for the past 30 years, you will find a man who has been dead wrong in nearly every assertion/prediction he has made, but the leather jacket and his mastery of the "I'm telling you something THEY don't want you to know" sucks them in every time.

I wonder how many of the people here who are calling for these two to be hanged as traitors ever served 12 years in this country's armed forces? Gwyn Dyer did. He was also appointed by the Canadian Forces to be a boardmember of RMC Kingston (that is the school that trains our Canadian officers, for the many ignorant people posting here.)
I have some collections of his articles at home and I can tell you that he opposed the invasion of Iraq, but wholeheartedly supported the invasions of Afghanistan, and Kuwait back in 1990, Kosovo in 2000, and most recently the bombing of Libya. That is hardly the profile of an AQ supporter or useful idiot.
His belief in global warming is shared by about 98% of scientists, but I know you guys don`t believe anything scientists say. They even argue with the fact that the world was created in 7 days!
But don`t let facts get in the way. I can tell you all really enjoy ranting to each other inside you tightly-sealed bubble and having to inform yourselves would just spoil the fun of it.
