House Democrats have been receiving instruction on how to make race the only issue:
As samples of race-coded rhetoric, (Mara Wiley of the Center for Social Inclusion) reminded the Democrats of statements by Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. Of Gingrich's famous comment about President Obama, her distributed remarks note, "Calling a Black man 'the food stamp president' is not a race-neutral statement, even if Newt Gingrich did not intend racism."….She also cited this comment from House Majority Leader Eric Cantor: "I've never believed that you go raise taxes on those that are paying in, taking from them, so that you just hand out and give them to someone else."

Wiley…offered this warning to Democrats about talking to "someone [who] opposes racial justice" but could support Democratic policies: "Don't make the mistake of telling them they're in the problem. It's emotional connection, not rational connection that we need."

Food stamp president? Are they implying that only black Americans get food stamps? Isn't that racist? No matter. Obama isn't a black American.

When the whole economy is in the garbage can and Hope and change sounds like a lost cause, why not the race card ? Does anyone really believe that Obama would even have a tiny chance at a second term if he was caucasian after screwing up everything he has come into contact with ? Being black is his trump card and this is simply another extension of affirmative action ,so loved by the lefty social engineers and apologetic media that still believes in their ability to showcase how enlightened we are as a society. Much like with our Natives there are many benefits in having put up with some abuse in the past that caucasians must now suffer for in atonement. A status that can only be achieved if you are anything but white. That status is the race card and the power it carries should not be under estimated. FORWARD....because you can't let me fail..... Probably why Herman Cain was vilified by the MSM. He may have been black but his success in business was too white and race was not a issue. Without the race card all you have is a persons achievements and Obama has none that haven't hurt the economy, already on its deathbed. Why wouldn't the Democrats play the race card ? It's all they have as they move FORWARD.
So 50 million or 15% of the population are on food stamps and 8.4% are on official unemployment.
So roughly 23-24% of the US population are out of work because Obambi is doing a bang up job of creating wealth and opportunity...
I wonder how that will turn out in November.
"Food stamp president" indeed...the hope for Obambi is that he keeps sending them all their meal ticket.

U-6, the broadest measure of US unemployment, is currently 14.3%. U-6 not only includes the traditional unemployed, but also people working part time for economic reasons, and people who are so discouraged that they've given up looking for work. It doesn't include the 3 million people who've gone on disability since Bambam took office, else the rate would be another 1.5% higher.
Here's the kicker stat I love: under George W. Bush, U-6 was never higher than 11.8% until November 2008, when he was voted out of office. Since Bambam was voted in, U-6 has never been lower than 12.7%.

To make racism the "only" issue is a Marxist tactic reflecting the political correctness agenda, in which the "victim" classes of society would be recruited in order to substitute for the working class of classic Marxist theory for the purposes of overthrowing capitalism.
