I suppose he's resigned because he fears his Foundation may lose it's charitable designation if he keeps up the politicking.

These expenses are listed as " program expenses". A third of the money that should be apent on the ground re:"feed the sea kitten's seal pups,save Santa's workshop,etc.",go to communications about these programs.

CRA rules state that any expense that solicits donations CANNOT be listed as a program expense.

I don't know if the Suzuki Foundation has breached this legal boundary,but someone should look into it.

Even with the resignation, Suzuki will still be behind the scenes, pulling strings, causing trouble and raking in a fortune to boot.

Personally I would like to see the little pr*ck and his foundation audited, assets frozen and the entire bunch thrown in a lice-infested, unheated cell.

Suzuki's wife, Tara Cullis, is still the President of the DSF and his daughters, Severn Cullis-Suzuki and Sarika Cullis-Suzuki are on the Board, as is the financial and environmental wizard, former Toronto mayor, David Miller.

If they do anything about it,such as attribution,that remains to be seen. So far ,it hasn't happened.

Ezra Levant has described the process many times. Donors give money to organization with charitable status, such as the Tides Foundation. The "charity" then transfers donated dollars to green activists who, because they wage political campaigns, are themselves ineligible for charitable status under our tax rules. This is a tax dodge. The government needs to shut it down.

Taxpayers should not be funding any political campaigns, PERIOD. And that includes those carried out by political parties using taxpayer subsidies "earned" by the number of votes a party gets.
