Ever since she was anointed ruler, the word I most often associate with Alison Wonderland is "incompetent". Unfortunately, she has too many water carriers.
And this is the same party that's ruled in Alberta for 41 years? Good gosh Peter Lougheed surely has to be rethinking his endorsement of these maroons.
Things are getting rough out on the hustings. Lots of nasty phonecalls and emails being recieved by the local candidate as well as elsewhere. Forty one years of incumbency dies hard - and will cheat if it gets the chance (I remember what it was like in NL when joeys 21 years came to an end - burned ballots and all).
Scrutineering volunteers are desperately needed all over the province. If you are able please help.
The latest poll commissioned by the CBC has the PC's duking it out in Calagry with WR. A lot of wishful thinking by the Commie Broadcasting Corp. PMSH should have put a for sale sign on this outfit last month.
The biggest irony of the 10% budget cut to CBC in the last budget was that everyone seems to have forgotten that Heritage Minister Moore gave them a $65 million raise last fall. Instead of a orderly demise of this outfit they are still growing like out of control vermin.
The question I have is: Was this done on purpose? Photo ops are limitless in Alberta, and the campaign ad producers choose this structure to put in the ad. Lazy, pathetic or ....something else?
Well, it makes sense - the Redford reds are UN globalists and in that mindset Canada, China makes no difference – all oil resources will be centrally regulated from the mothership in NYC anyway. Who cares if we use a Chi-com drilling rig – the energy patch is global right?
The Ad is a Freudian slip which reveals that this government sees little difference in the governing models of China or Canada they believe we will converge politically under UN agenda 21 sustainability hegemony.
But obviously they are touchy about their agenda getting out before theclamp on the oil patch is in place, this the cause of embarrassment over the Chi-com flag in an Alberta PC message - Ooops!
Patro Lougheed is not regretting his endorsement of Red Ali. He is jealous of her since she is doing that which he was too timid to tackle. Patro Lougheed was one of the worst premiers Alberta ever spawned and it shows in his choice for premier now.
Phantom, and that's the mystery. A party in power for 41 years, and it's this incompetent at running an election. In all honesty, they're out of practice. They haven't really had to fight for anything in four decades.
I've said it before and I will say it again. Elections matter, always. The upcoming result would likely have been much closer if the PCs hadn't committed one brutal gaffe after another. Fact is, they are so bad now at the basic business of running a campaign that they couldn't organize an orgy in a whorehouse.
I remember few years ago someone posted on SDA an interesting comment (with links) regarding airplane crashes. Apparently, every disaster is the result of compounding small errors.
Oh look, it Alison Red-fraud, the unelected, back room dealing, billion dollar cheque writing, sanctimonious, sour faced hag. Btw she just loves Alberta.

Neil Heywood 'poisoned by cyanide drops' in China
A British businessman found dead in China was killed with cyanide, it has been reported.
Neil Heywood was murdered on the orders of a fallen Communist Party chief, according to the reports.
The Mail on Sunday quoted ''respected Mandarin-language websites'' saying Mr Heywood, 41, died from cyanide poisoning after allegedly having an affair with lawyer Gu Kailai, wife of Bo Xilai, seen until recently as a future leader of China.
Mr Heywood was found dead on November 15 in Chongqing, in central China.
Britain asked China to investigate his death and it emerged last week that Mrs Gu was being probed for ''intentional homicide''.
The newspaper said it was alleged that Mr Heywood was murdered after helping Mrs Gu to siphon nearly £800 million of assets overseas.

I think sasquatch and I mentioned such practices a little while back...
Redford's recent comments and subsequent retraction regarding Klein's tenure were cleverly contrived to damn him with faint praise - a desperate attempt to curry favor with undecided progressive voters.
A full scale bullshit campaign that would make Joseph Goebbels proud.

Xiat, generally yes. Sometimes it results from one big gigantic design flaw, as was the case with Chernobyl, but much of the time it's an accumulation of small errors, such as Three Mile Island.
The other thing that a large accumulation of small deficiencies shows is the possibility of a major failure later on. They can serve as precursors if you will.
Wasn’t Kinsella fired from the Federal Liberal campaign, and the same guy that personally endorses Alison Redford while making racist remarks about Chinese people?
Just wondering, because if the same character, I'm trying to see the credibility that the lunatic left finds in this guy, like what does he do, beside stir sh*t, make all the wrong choices, and hate ethnic people?
Chernoble was the result of Russian stupidity. They were told by western scientists that you MUST have a back up water tower to flood the reactor if something goes wrong. They insisted that nothimg COULD go wrong and therefor didnt have one.
The PC's have become nothing but a greased pig.
The stupidity coupled with arrogance dipped in the gravy of corruption. Just becomes more visible by the day.

Using a graphite moderator to cool a reactor is kind of like using coal to put out a fire. After graphite's ignition point (730 celcius) is reached it will burn.
What was Greenpeace doing while the Soviets were building such radioactive 'dirty bombs'?
Though, if the Chinese keep buying their way into more Canadian natural resources and Canadian farmland, their flag in the background will cease to be an accident.
Well that would explain her repressive leadership or Queenship whilst attacking freedom and liberty, Alberta can be the new China under the progressive regressive fake Cons.
if you want to vote at Oilweek, go to the "contact us" page - the poll is available on the sidebar. Your vote is recorded. I had the same bs happen, so started a butt kicker beef, then saw the poll.
Spike, Rizwan, please don't discuss the technical aspects of nuclear, as it's clear you don't understand it. A water tower for RBMK reactors was irrelevant. The entire accident sequence happened in four seconds. There was no core left to cool and such a feature was irrelevant to the accident that occurred.
Rizwan, moderators do not cool reactors. RBMK is a graphite moderated, water cooled reactor. Graphite is the moderator, not the coolant, and the difference was profound in that accident sequence.
And the Soviets said "we don' need no steenkin' 3-yards-of-reinforced-concrete containment dome". Thus the RBMK at Chernobyl had a high school gym over the reactor: a cinder block building with a tarred steel roof. 'Twas as effective at containing an explosion as wet toilet paper.
The pc's are finished.
