Thanks for posting this, Kate. I also posted in on my Facebook Wall. Everyone was outraged except for one young guy from the Netherlands who equated Radical Islam to Christianity. Why? Because of the abuse of young boys by Catholic priests.

I wrote him privately and very politely told him that while what while what went on in the Catholic church was indeed horrendous but in no way is there any comparison with the steady totalitarian march of Radical Islam ... which is given tacit approval by the Left.

I lived in the UK for a few years very recently, this type of socialist based, delusional group think has utterly consumed the political discussion as well as the table-talk. I have argued many times with believers in "moderate" Islam that the main question to Muslims is whether or not they endorse the establishment of sharia. If they do then they are just as nuts, just as radical, as their brothers and sisters who brandish weapons and bombs because the end is the same, it is only the means that differ.

In Manitoba we have many Anglo families who have immigrated from Britain .... they say they moved here because they have lost their beloved homeland to the minorities (which are now the majority) .... be careful who you let into your country.

The view of Christianity held by these pampered ignoramuses, and condescendingly expressed with more than a soupçon of nastiness, is pre-Reformation—and even then, Christianity did a lot of good, which they resolutely deny.

As to lookout's post,I have had similar experiences when this subject comes up,the stronger the belief(knowledge) in Christianity,the more aware of the reality of islam. The relativists insulate themselves from reality with their rainbow version of life.
They also do not like one on one conversations about any 'sensitive' subjects,there is safety in numbers. On the plus side,I have on occasion been approached by a solitary member of the 'group' and told that they agree with my opinion. My reaction depends on my mood at the time.

Check out the “Equity Policies” of various organizations. They include “protection” for only some religions, e.g., Islam.

Christian prayers are NOT allowed in public schools. In fact, just mentioning Jesus is virtually verboten. Allah? Hey, no problem! We’ll even allow imams into our public schools to conduct segregated prayer services during instructional time. Think how that screws up the timetable big time, not only for Muslim students, but for everyone else, including the teachers, who are responsible for delivering the curriculum, in a finite period of time.
