Sean, They Hardly Know Ye!

CKOM;

A ward four candidate is keeping a leg up on his opponent in the online world.

Sean Shaw confirmed he did indeed buy up a couple of internet domain names including troydavies.com.

Troy Davies, the other Ward Four candidate, recently put his name into the running

And to think we knew him wayback when he was just Sean In Saskatchewan, with a link of approval to Canada's Number One Source for the word "c*nt".

Update: SDA gets results!

8 years ago Kate?

8 years ago I still believed in democracy.

So sorry 4 years ago,

So much for that accounting degree she said sheepishly..... :O)

Once a weasel, always a weasel. I met this guy at my door last election. Four years ago? Seems more like yesterday. The JWs would be more welcome.

We need some changes in city council. It's hard to imagine anyone as ineffective as Pat Lorje or as arrogant to the west side as Atchinson. Hopefully some good people will run against them.

Grey Lady

if U were SO sorry 4 years ago, how do U feel today!!!!

What a greasy little left wing twit. I sincerely hope that this stunt with domain names kneecaps his campaign before it starts. And I'm sorry 'L', but Atchison is the best thing to happen to Saskatoon since forever. He'll repeat with an increased mandate.

I just posted this over at Mr. Shaw's site:

Sean, registering an internet domain in the name of your opponent is about the stupidest thing I've heard an upstart politician do in some time. Your PhD is failing you, young man. Fix this quickly, before the likes of "Small Dead Animals" get hold of this.

Oops. To late. You're about to find out just how stupid your little prank was.

Registering a domain name with the intent of denying it from others is actually called cyber-squatting. It is actually illegal in some places. It can be reversed by an appeal to to ICANN under the Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy.

The United States, for example, has the U.S. Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act.

If Davies loses the election, then I would recommend he go forward with a lawsuit afterwards.

Thanks Syd...the best that can happen is for CC to get pee'd off at SDA and Kate. Fun!!

This is my riding.

I already sent Mr shaw a note informing him this will be brought up at every conversation between now and October.

What wingwalker said. This is just typical Marxist politicking.

Which part of the city is Ward 4?

Is this a joke, that vile man is running for office??

Forget the rest of Canada, the only place that U.S. foundations have heavily funded Suzuki’s work is on the strategic, north coast of B.C., right smack where oil tankers export bound for Asia would need to travel.

Gee. What a coincidence!

What sort of person would buy his political rival's internet domain names?

What a spiteful, pig-like, tiny thing to do.

Yup, PhD in stupid.

Opps misread the thing, CC is not running for office women can rejoice.

kdl, thank you.

Great. Just what Saskatoon needs on city council ... another anti-progress, anti-business lefty. With the untimely passing of Maurice Neault and the upcoming retirement of Myles Heidt, common sense is leaking out of council chambers faster than water through a sieve.

The socialists were soundly rejected by the province but they're sure getting their feet in the door of the city. John Gormley predicted this turn of events and it appears that he was correct.

Oh well ... the city can rid itself of all those pesky infrastructure problems like road repairs and bridges and concentrate on bike paths and community gardens.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for not linking to CC, aka contemptible cr@p-head's blog. I would have had to burn my computer.

Sheesh, kulak, you've not only lived your life on someone else's dime, you can't even formulate your own opinion. What wingwalker said

Someone else has even got to do your googling for you.
Which part of the city is Ward 4?

typical welfare bum.

Just in from Tammy Robert's Twitter feed: Sean Shaw backs down.

seanshaw.ca/mediareleases

Thanks for that, jwkozak91.

SDA gets results...fast.

Failed blogger gets caught with pants down, deflects attention onto campaign team and declares, let this be a teachable moment for all. Got it.

".. at my own personal expense as soon as possible."

Mighty magnanimous of you Sean.

Cyber-tweeb here bought up domains at 5 or ten dollars apiece for the year and can transfer them over on the spot for free.
Any other scenario only demonstrates how this moron will spend other people's money.

And I will still remind everyone I meet between now and October who wants to talk local politics about this.

I bet Mr Shaw might be reading this.

Your actions will not be forgotten.

Darren Hill in Saturday's Star Pheonix states that actions by Sean Shaw are just good Politics. What a piece of work Mr. Hill is.

"SDA gets results!" link above no worky.
