Ashley Taylor, a TV reporter for South Carolina NBC affiliate WMBF, was recently doing a live segment when, in a dumb prank, a passerby grabbed the mic and said with a goofy grin "I am that n****r!" before walking off. The next day, the reporter's report on the "attack" was all about how she was the "victim" of a crime:

"The irony of this attack? I was reporting on a crackdown on crime in Myrtle Beach. Little did I know that I would become the victim..."

"Every day I tell victim stories to give them a voice, but now I've experienced firsthand how important victim's advocates are…"

Not to defend the toddler-brained idiot who grabbed who interrupted her report, but...

We had organized relief efforts from here to tackle the crisis. Drives for food, clothing, hospital equipment, medical supplies, money. Heaven knows it was needed....there'd be no response from the other side to deal with it.
Over blown? Looking back....perhaps. But the poor saps were pretty much left to their own devices (and not for the first time!)

Further to your "crucify" post. Limbaugh explains how it was all about killing fracking.

And finally, just last month, two years after the fact, the EPA withdrew its order and a federal court dismissed the EPA's case.
