What do we want? A lower bar! When do we want it? I don't know, I can't read the question:
Shocka:
"Yet another new survey shows that Republican supporters know more about politics and political history than Democrats. On eight of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by an average of 18 percentage points, according to a new Pew survey 'Partisan Differences in Knowledge.'"
Let the real games begin . . .

Unlike last time, the Republican candidate appears ready to pop some Obama bubbles.

In color. See what you think.
EBD,I've been anxiously awaiting the day political correctness will go a step further, and we hire blind air-traffic controllers, and Firemen in wheelchairs.
Just got back from Steynamite; met The Man himself, had him sign a couple of books, laughed like hell, even as depressing as some of it was to hear.
Fantastic night! If you have a chance to see him... take it.

Was it Me No Dhimmi who'd said that he thought that John McCain threw the 2008 election?
Well, well, well.
"By Martin Barillas, Spero News
According to emails obtained by WikiLeaks, which is led by the embattled Julian Assange, Republican Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign staff allegedly had evidence that Democrats stuffed ballot boxes in Pennsylvania and Ohio on election night. However, the candidate chose not to pursue voter fraud, according to internal emails obtained from the private intelligence and analysis firm, Stratfor.

If Bev Oda was white, Liberal and from Quebec, would she be on the 11:00 PM news??
Sorry but I disagree with all the negative publicity! $665 per is not a lot of money for a room in London, Paris or Berlin. In Moose Jaw or Weyburn, yes that's high. And she is a minister!
mhb, we are jealous.
Plainzdrifter; this story brings back to mind the Liberal MP who used her government credit card for a vacation in Palm Springs complete with fur coat. Only paid the expenses back when exposed by the Reform Party.
And no; the bill is not high for a Cabinet Minister on Government business. We can't send a Canadian Government representative to London looking like a poor cousin and e3xpect them to rub shoulders with European brass.
Not showing up to expose electoral fraud is a failed conservative policy.
Milligan is one of the great funny guys of the last century. Highly underrated and under-appreciated
mhb, also attended Steynamite last night. Brilliant show, he is an amazing entertainer. I am sure there is a new fatwa out on him for his showing how silly the musims are with their niqab and cruel theocracy.
Doubt Kommissars Jennifer Lynch and Babs Hall were in the large audience. Great singer, laughed all night.
Well, that didn't take long...
Danielle Smith, 16 April 2012: "We have always said the [climate change] science isn't settled and we need to continue to monitor the debate."
Danielle Smith, 24 April 2012: "“Our members have now seen that some of our policies were rejected by Albertans, quite frankly. We will be revisiting some of those. You can’t run a government if you don’t get sanction from the people...There may also be a stronger statement to make about climate change and our policy around greenhouse gas emissions."
Mulsim lawyer Dagir Hasavov promises bloodbath if sharia courts are not legalized in Russia in his interview given in Moscow:

Rural kids, parents angry about Labor Dept. rule banning farm chores
Under the rules, children under 18 could no longer work “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials.”
“Prohibited places of employment,” a Department press release read, “would include country grain elevators, grain bins, silos, feed lots, stockyards, livestock exchanges and livestock auctions.”

I really hope Danielle does not think the green card was the deciding factor in the election...

The Prince Rupert school district has banned Dr.Seuss'"Yertle the Turtle" as being too politically contentious.
gunney99, Oda is under fire because she refused to stay at the $675 a night hotel, and moved to one down the street which cost $1100.
Oda has done this before, and her political persuasion doesn't enter into it. She 's one of "the entitled", and should be sent to the back benches where she belongs.
I really hope my post on Steynamite gets through the filter!
P.S. to my caught-in-the-filter post:
Michael Coren did a really fine imitation of Margie Gillis dancing and defence of Judeo-Christianity and Catholicism: the last frontiers of allowed—even sanctioned—hatred and bigotry in the “free world”. I bought his books, “Why Catholics are Right” and “Heresy: Ten [Why did he stop at only 10?] Lies They Spread About Christianity”: a few people here would benefit from reading these books, with facts about which far too many are stone ignorant.
gunney99, the Savoy where Oda was to stay was $287,the place she chose to stay,$665,according to the National Post.
She can change hotels, she's expected to pick up the difference herself.
As Kelly McParland says,"it’s not a matter of a deliberate effort to swindle the government, but of busy people making quick decisions that don’t seem like a big deal at the time — and they usually aren’t — but look bad when splashed on a front page."
An interesting piece on Breivik at Taki's magazine titled " Anders Breivik: Too Sane for Comfort".
It got me thinking about our very own PM Jean C and how he sympathized with the terrorist actions on 9/11. There are parallels.

Thrilled, naturally, to see myself quoted so long after that speculation about McCain "throwing the 08 election".
NOW, apparently Romney is insisting on the meme that Obama is a really nice, likeable chap , just over his head. I saw it on my rounds this morning.
SHUDDER.
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere . The 3 senators in waiting are the three PC candidates.
No "Yertle the Turtle" in BC classroom.
---------------------------------------------
“It’s a good use of my time if it serves the purpose of shielding the children from political messaging,” Mr. Stigant said. “I don’t consider it’s taking a stand on the dispute. It’s a matter of legality and living up to our obligation to children and their families.”
The quote in question – “I know up on top you are seeing great sights, but down here on the bottom, we too should have rights” – comes from Yertle the Turtle, the tale of a turtle who climbs on the backs of other turtles to get a better view.
In the midst of a labour dispute between the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation and the province, the quote was deemed unsuitable.
“I responded that in the context, it was borderline,” Mr. Stigant said. “Contextually, it was political – but it was grey and I would prefer it didn’t appear and I believe she agreed.”
Yertle’s quest for a higher vantage point ends when the turtle at the bottom of the stack – who’s pleaded, “I’ve pain in my back, my shoulders and knees – how long must we stand here, your majesty please” – burps, sending Yertle hurtling to the mud.

For those who have been following the Martin/Zimmerman saga; Reuters has published an interesting article which provides some background on George Zimmerman that doesn't fit the narrative we've been hearing from the MSM.
