The Justice Department sued the city of Jacksonville, Florida, on Monday, claiming its use of written tests to determine promotions in the city's fire department discriminates against African-Americans….The complaint said use of the tests "has resulted in a disparate impact upon black candidates" because African-Americans pass the examinations at significantly lower rates than white candidates.

The Prince Rupert school district has banned Dr.Seuss'"Yertle the Turtle" as being too politically contentious.

gunney99, Oda is under fire because she refused to stay at the $675 a night hotel,and moved to one down the street which cost $1100.

Oda has done this before, and her political persuasion doesn't enter into it. She 's one of "the entitled", and should be sent to the back benches where she belongs.

Thrilled, naturally, to see myself quoted so long after that speculation about McCain "throwing the 08 election".

NOW, apparently Romney is insisting on the meme that Obama is a really nice, likeable chap , just over his head. I saw it on my rounds this morning.
