We are in a post ice-age period. The glaciers were receding long before the carbon dioxide increased. I forget whether the Columbia Glacier or the photo display there showed the toe of the glacier at different dates and it was receding 100 years ago.

My question is still: "who put all those manmade artifacts, villages and mines under those glaciers ?" you know, the ones that keep showing up when the ice melts...sort of looks like those glaciers aren't supposed to be there in the first place and the 'normal' state of the earth is with them gone...but there's no money for the goreacle in celebrating longer growing seasons, more arable land and fewer people freezing to death...pity this last winter's deadly European cold snap that paralyzed countries and killed hundreds if notthousands didn't get much press here but the few warm days we received thanks to a cyclical pacific system made headlines as 'global warming'...even if it was record snowfalls and is still snowing in Alaska, California, Colorado and parts of the Rockies
