A "feisty" interview with James Delingpole , via the highly recommended Quadrant magazine.

I was waiting for James to tell the interviewed he quacks like a duck. "I'm not an environmentalist, I'm an interviewer." You quack like a duck mate, so I'll bet your butt is watertight.

“We are all environmentalists now, but we are not all planetists. An environmentalist realizes that nature has its pleasures and deserves respect. A planetist puts the earth ahead of the earthlings.”

William Safire, The New York Times

Sorry this is off topic and feel free to move to somewhere appropriate but i just getta let people know :

http://www.jasonkenney.ca/petition/

It is a petition for canadians who pay taxes to get first dibs on health care over refugee claimants and even in some cases bogus refugees and this has been happening for a very long time they get better health care than we do as tax paying canadians . Now thie liberal and the ndp are comming out swinging and are against this measure please sign the petition!!!

rats, interviewer (first post, first sentence). The ABC (?) gent sounded about as even-handed as our own beloved CBC.

I like the way Delinpole ignores Godwin's Law. I find the imposition of that rule to be pure censorship by another name and it takes away the most appropriate parallel of watermelons.

The condescending, righteous tone of Jon Faine is common amongst ignorant Leftards that I've met all over.

Incidentally, it turns out that the interviewer is an eco-murderer. But Hypocrisy and Leftism have long mixed together like peas in a pod.

So is the Australian Broadacsting Conflagration anaolgous to the CBC..?

"So is the Australian Broadacsting Conflagration anaolgous to the CBC..?"

You mean the Canadian Broadcorping Castration?

Ah yes...the is little pleasure to be had in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

Delingpole did give a bit...and did not allow himself to be shouted down or interupted.

Faine was totally unprepared for the "polution behind the iron/bamboo curtain" comparison to capitalist environmental stewardship.

Delingpole even succeeded in out condescending that condescending fool Faine...aptly named...

This Faine creature from the Oz state broadcasting corpse could walk right into a job in our lefty state broadcaster. he's smarmy - arrogant, spews the party mantra like an insider and denies any counter argument any credibility at all - even when there are undeniable facts.

Dillingpole was articulate and firm in fact-based presentation and did his best to get around his salient points being shouted down with obtuse interruption - but I think he missed the real MOAB that destroys the AGW cult's mythology on contact - that being that the only place on earth where man made catastrophic climate change exists in on a computer model fed provably faulty data. NO evidence exists from instrumentation readings to support the computer hypothesis.

IOW - catastrophic global warming does not exist- at least factual measurement refutes the computer model. Case closed. All the lefty caterwauling about global crisis/catastrophe is a political reuse to do an end-run around democratic process to install soviet resource and wealth control systems in non-Soviet nations. The ABC apparatchik really winced when JD hit him with that - he tried to shout him down for over a minute - must've hit a truth nerve ;-)

The observable data does not compute...Must mean we need proxy data..right?

The interviewer doesn't realize his role...is playing devils advocate.Passive, but nonetheless, filling in for the other side.

Fair enough..you would think. Sure,if you were dealing with a professional adult, hopefully. That is what an interview IS!!

And so he absorbs some of James' barbs, take them personally, then his "objectivism" goes out the window.

Whacko Leftists, and they are all guilty of this, never realize their own thin skin in these instances.

If he had a gun,he'd use it!

Ah yes, another national broadcaster with an arrogant left-wing ass doing interviews. Truly no different than the CBC.

I do think that our guy could have handled himself better. Yeah, the interviewer was smarmy, but our guy came off as whiny.

Why would any Australian want to listen to Delingpole tell them about their own country?
