Since we don't get to hear the rest of the 911 call, I have a question:

Why is race the 911 operator's first question? Shouldn't he be asking for height/build/clothing at night, instead of race? It's night time, and it's raining, and you're 40 feet away - I think it would be pretty easy to mistake a white guy with a good tan (this is Florida, after all) for a Hispanic, or a dark Hispanic for a black.

Now, we don't hear the entire call, so maybe those questions were asked later, but clearly race is the first question asked. How come the Rev Al (the newsguy's pal!) isn't all over the 911 operator?

I think the editing achieved its purpose: to define Zimmerman as racist. Removing the malicious edit is now irrelevant.

Why isn't the AG, Holder, dealing with yet another fact of this case: that the Black Panthers have put out a ransom payment to anyone who captures Zimmerman? This is obviously illegal - why hasn't Holder said a word about this? And why hasn't Obama intervened and told people to 'cool it'? Instead, he incited the hysteria by telling Americans that Martin was akin to 'the son he would have had if he had a son'. Hmm.

Read the Daily Telegraph's coverage of this which was obligingly published in the liberal (Montreal) Gazette. First of all the photo was a of 14 year old in his football team uniform, a variation of the other young photo of Martin used instead of older versions.

Secondly the headline was
Trayvon Martin Killer Avoids Jury Trial".This makes it sound as if Zimmerman had something to do with the prosecutor deciding she alone would decide.

The rest of the article talks about the demonstrations against Zimmerman and not much else.

THAT'S NOTHING !!!!! I saw the whole Rodney King video years ago .... it was nothing like the 30 seconds ALL the media showed on TV.

King had a passenger in his car (who was also black) .... he caused no problems and the LA police treated him like a gentleman .

On the other hand 4 policemen .... one on each arm and leg still could not hold Rodney King down .... he sent the 4 cops flying and finally they had to subdue him with batons ... King was drug fueled and crazy ... and the 4 cops were losing the struggle.

The first court case the jury saw the whole video and immediately found the cops not guilty .... then all of black LA rioted until they charged the cops again....

When I first viewed the edited Rodney King clip....what caught my eye was this fella who remained on his hands and knees under blows which would have flatened an normal individual.....this was dismissed off-hand by those who only saw a black guy getting beaten by white cops....because that's all they wanted to see.

Those same individuals still, to this day, dismiss evidence of King's drugged state at that time.

Currently this NBC editing is a "never-ya-mind" to those who have made a predictable snap judgement and would have regardless.

It's an act of faith for these people.

Today they officially charged Zimmerman with second degree murder, and have him in custody.

Another political prisoner in America held hostage by domestic Black Terrorism and a pandering Liberal establishment.

Yeah, it appears the office of The Obama finally dropped the dime and called the Seminole County authorities. I can imagine the only words spoken were, "Ok, it's time..."

a) Now that Romney has all but been declared, the 'trial' will coincide perfectly with the run up to the election. Between now and November, Democrats, the black community, and especially the independents won't spend more than 5 minutes paying attention to the election, but will instead be entirely focused on the 'trial'. All they're going to hear is how this gun toting white man (nevermind he's a Hispanic and a registered Democrat. It won't matter) ran down and shot a young black man in cold blood.

b) Once Zimmerman's found not guilty (it took a month and a half before the police could be coerced into laying even a single charge?), and once the rioting, looting of TVs and high-tops is over, the country will have no choice but to re-elect The Obama. Surely, only a Democrat can ensure that this type of crime can never happen again (even though it happened under the watch of a Democrat POTUS. It won't matter).

State Atty. Angela B. Corey outlined the charges in the case that has sparked national demonstrations calling for Zimmerman’s arrest.

“I can tell you we did not come to this decision lightly,” Corey told reporters. “We do not prosecute by public pressure.”

And she added: "“We will continue to seek the truth about this case,” she said.

She said her office had filed information with the charge.

She said the 28-year-old Sanford man is in custody in Florida but wouldn't say where.

A second-degree murder charge in Florida carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. It is typically charged when there is a fight or other confrontation that results in death and where there is no premeditated plan to kill someone.

Corey began the press conference this evening by saying she had spoken to Trayvon Martin’s parents shortly after she took on the case and her investigation was driven by “the search for justice for Trayvon.”

“It was less than three weeks ago that we told those sweet parents that we would get answers,” she said.
