Of course the MSM cherry picks facts to further their agenda. They’re selling an entertainment product to a lefty audience with preconceived ideas who know how they feel, and they don’t want those feelings challenged by any inconvenient facts.
…the same Ann Coulter who says Mister MassCare is the “conservative” choice?
Thanks, no.
The problem with Mittens is not his business acumen or his religion. Its his progressive mindset in deciding policy that is his problem. Alison Redford is a prime example. She is undoubtedly a very smart woman BUT her progressive mindset makes her a VERY bad premier.
It makes one wonder why…no one has found any dirt on Obama…a halo…can’t hide things…heck he uses figures I am sure he knows are false..liar…liar pants on fire thing…but every one has some real good thing…they must hide…///
Those who do not know the history are bound to repeat it. The Dexter NDP government here in Nova Scotia have been pouring taxpayer’s dollars into the only two paper mills in Nova Scotia hoping somehow that saving a few jobs in a dying industry is worth throwing money at. One company went belly up after losing $50+ million/year and the other was scraping by by cutting staff, getting concessions on timber/power rates, and believe it or not, union agreeing on a wage roll back. It seems that nobody here even considered plugging a financial hole and save taxpayer money. Deja vue all over again.
Never expect a union boss to actually think how their actions could affect a business. This is how we get strikes that force businesses to close their doors forcing many out of work, for want of a concession to keep them working and the business making money. In the eyes of the union a business is not there to make money for the owner or the investor, it is there to make money to pay them and only them.
The correct phrase is:
Profits and people – both or neither.
I grew up in Marion. Manufacturing there was big in the 60’s and 70’s, with large GM, RCA, and other companies, and a lot of smaller manufacturer’s. It’s a shell of a town, now, with most of the industries priced out of the area or the country.
The GOP in Indiana is trying to get right-to-work law passed, to stop forcing people to belong to a union in order to have a job. The Democrats in the state legislature are flee-bagging again, and have bolted out of the state to prevent a quorum and a vote. They seem incapable of learning.
