fife, on the other hand, is a puppet for the lpoc and little else. His analysis of anything is invariably biased into a completely different realm rather than the slightest bit objective…if he’s going to editorialize, he has to make that clear from the start, not present his opinions as fact, which moonbats will then quote as irrefuteable truths.

I hate to be a contrarian, but Fife is right, Canada is becoming isolated on Israel. It’s a fact that Obama, the weaklings in the EU and most of the rest of the world’s crapholes are becoming more and and more anti-Israel. So have the world’s media and most of the academic elite. We are becoming isolated despite being right. Fife is giving it to us straight on that. Think of what he’s saying about Obama and Sarkozy. He’s telling us that US policy has shifted radically and Sarkozy is, like so many of the French, anti-Isreal. Fife has a lot of faults, but don’t go after him for giving us straight talk here.
I find that CTV and CBC are slowly merging into a single image. If CBC funding was cut off altogether all the lefties would have little trouble finding finding their new home at CTV which has been edging to the left since 2006.

Another argument for getting rid of the CBC. CTV is their political clone and exists without taxpayers having to be looted, making the CBC redundant. Craig Oliver was known to be “a close personal friend of Pierre Trudeau”, how “CLOSE” is open to speculation. Fife merely follows in Craig’s Liberal footsteps.
Minor point: I can’t see the reference to Robert Fife as “Barney”,the fictitious,but loveable character played by Don Knotts for so many years on the “Andy Griffith Show”, for which portrayal Knotts won five “Emmy’s”.
The character “Barney” was good hearted and honest as the day is long,without a malicious bone in his body. Knotts played the part brilliantly,”Barney” is one of the most beloved characters in show biz history.

CTV has pulled this crap for years: CTV talking heads “interviewing” each other. As soon as Fife uttered “I think”, the news ended and CTV/Librano opinion shaping began.
I quit watching CTV altogether, and take every opportunity to let advertisers know dollars spent sponsoring CTV “news” is money wasted on me.
Forget emailing CTV, they don’t care. Email sponsors instead. Tell them why this style of “professional” “journalism” colors sponsorship messages negatively.

Was I the only one to notice that Sarkozy called Netanyahu a liar AFTER Obama had rounded on him for changing his UNESCO vote at the last minute, without telling the USA. Fife took a private and personal document, that was inadvertently left in CTV offices, held it for 6 days – informed no one that he had it, opened it, photocopied the contents, and then publicly released the contents without the approval or permission of the owners.
Any time that Fife has the gall on national TV to question ethics or morals of any Canadian he should be reminded of his own juvenile actions.

i cancelled my rogers cable on Nov 1st when they kicked Sun News up the dial to some digital box premium 142 or somewhere like that.
get all my info via the internet since 1996 and use a third party ISP for high speed internet.
