I think the grief is real. These people have been brainwashed for decades with little outside influence and believe they stand alone against the world, with only the “Great Leader” preventing their complete destruction as a society. Their entire education system from kindergarden on up confirmed Kim’s godlike status. Just look how little it took for Gore/Suzuki to brainwash millions of our young. Even many teachers fell under the spell of snake oil salesmen that we now know were enticed more by endless funding than any credible threat to the planet. We are still paying a tax on carbon so the scam still has life. North Korea has been brainwashed since 1953 and it will take a long time to undo the damage done by treating all citizens like children. They also have the fourth largest military on the planet, not to mention nukes. It will take a while to see where this goes but I’ll bet South Korea is not seeing any humor in this.
