Well, now. After staring at this thing in dismay and sorrow I started thinking about Swedish movies. You know, the kind of thing where the people are just sitting around staring. Every once in a while they utter a word, and just when you are about to die of boredom they get up and look at a clock or break a mirror or something like that. It is supposed to be deeply symbolic. I don’t know what happens next because I never last that long.

The obvious solution is more planning time for teachers, a 1:1 teacher:student classroom size, fully indexed pension upon retirement at 39, supported by a bevy of MSW resources. Each classroom will be built from recycled materials and powered by a wind turbine. These facilities will float, allowing for ocean rising. All students, regardless of ability, will be awarded journalism degrees on condition that they demonstrate a willingness to espouse correct opinions.
this is the most depressing report I have seen in a while. Obviously it points to a continuing downturn in the economy in the USA and ours as well. Thank God i don’t have a mortgage anymore.
I get frustrated with all the talk of economic crisis. This is a government fiscal crisis. All over the world, governments are spending more than they have; it’s that simple. Governments are too big, “doing” too much and stifling the productive economy.
I just broke a mirror.
America is in a Major depression. No denying it.
