Interesting that 40 years of special treatment under under US Affirmative Action racial laws and more African Americans are unemployed, born to single mothers and living on food stamps than before the race laws changed. There is more drug use, crime and suicides as well.
The Congresswoman is correct, the problem is racism, just not the way she figures it.

If she was worried so much about outsourcing jobs, and racism against black men, why doesn’t she go across America and ask them to stop beating up white people and robbing stores with flash mobs?
If you look at FBI statistics you can see that Black on White violent crime including rape, murder & robbery is epidemic across America. What racism?

The irony lost in all this is that Martin Luther King, Jr. was a registered Republican.
Not so surprising for a Baptist minister who believed in traditional Judeo-Christian morality, strong families and community, judging people only by “the content of their character” and every person being free to build his or her own life as a free person, without bigotry. Sounds like Dr. King would definitely be a Tea Party man today.
