I disagree that this video would be ineffective. Leftist/greens tend to like cute cartoon/infographic presentations (they're very trendy these days.) It's a much easier sell than, say, pointing someone at a Glen Beck video.

I think skeptics could gain a lot more traction spreading the word if they present things in a style that appeals to the hipster/creative class. They'll feel as if its one of their own communicating the message as opposed to "the enemy."

I'm no pinko, but if everyone on the planet wants to have the same standard of living as us, then we will indeed destroy the planet. There are simply not enough resources to go around, nor enough land to give everyone 3000+ sq. foot home on 0.5 acres of land. Ain't gonna happen.

The wealth redistribution scheme to raise the standard of living in the 3rd World is just a diversionary tactic to mollify western Leftists when their own standard of drops.
The redistribution isn't actually going to go to the poor in these nations, it's going to go to the elites(western and in the 3rd world) and the poor will remain in the straits they are living in.
Welfare doesn’t work to raise standards of living, it freezes the status quo and prevents grass roots wealth creation.

The world population is about 6,755,000,000.

The land area of the USA is 2,300,000,000 acres.

If you moved the entire population of the planet into the USA and gave everyone an even chunk it works out to .34 acres per person, or 3 people per acre, leaving the rest of the planet empty.

I like to eat swordfish. At current fishing rates, swordfish will be nearly gone within 10-20 years max. If the swordfish supply was not finite, this problem would not exist.

As for land, it is clearly finite, unless you are like FREE who wants to live like a rat in a tiny cage. Then I suppose you could argue that the available land on the planet is infinite.

One of the things that allows the global warming and green cults to continue is that the average person does not appreciate what an exceptionally compact form of energy fossil fuels are. People get in their cars but don't really have an appreciation for how much energy it takes to move an automobile from A to B. This disconnect from reality means that the Al Gore's of the world can tout wind/solar/etc. as alternatives knowing that the average person will be fooled.

My point was that the elites pushing the idea of wealth redistribution through the AGW scam were justifying the drop in standard of living that the Leftist foot soldiers were going to experience with the sop that their sacrifice would be worth while because living standards would thereby be raised in the 3rd world.

Of course that motive is false and the result is we will all end up with lower standards of living, especially the people in the 3rd world as food prices rise along with energy prices and the use of corn grains for ethanol production lead to famine.

Pointing out the fact that there is lots of room left doesn't justify your lame attack.

I plan to send a link to this video to all my friends and family - some will appreciate it, the gonzos for the GM hoax might watch it by mistake and delete it with vigor...but I will have planted that seed of doubt...even lame brain msm inspired AGW cultists hate to spend their own money. This video informs the people of North America that they will be going down with the greenie group think, they will take down those that they resent and envy but they will all be going down the drain into the same cesspool under civilization and the comforts of civilization.
