Adam Carolla hosts a weekday podcast that happens to be the most popular one in the world. Recently he has been playing segments of a first person audio recording of his grandfather's life history.
In this video I put together, you'll hear his grandfather talking about his time at Ellis Island, NY, after arriving from Hungary. Then you'll hear Carolla contrast the complete lack of gratitude expressed by so many in Hollywood today.

Just yesterday via Ancestry.com I discovered a Canadian Government Document recording my own fathers entry to Canada in 1924.
He had $25.00 recorded on his person as he entered as an immigrant from, then Hungary, (subsequently annexed and officially, Romania after WW 1 ).
Best move that Peter Molnar family ever made, and his descendants are thriving and love this country, Canada!

What is sad is that some groups here in Canada want to make this country into a political entity similar to those our families left in the 1920s. Even some of the trolls who frequent SDA support this agenda.

Here's the thing... the country this guy's grandfather moved to doesn't exist any more. Now if he showed up, the people who made this video would be screaming for him to be thrown back on the boat.

Uh, I believe Oliver Stone did make one foray out of Santa Monica... now where did he go.....? oh yeah, a tour of duty in Vietnam, while Limbaugh and O'Rielly and Dubya and Cheney and the rest of the chicken hawks were stateside. What chicken hawk division did Carolla serve in, I wonder?
I do not pay much attention to the Hollywood types, do not read the tabloids, do not watch etalk or shit like that, could care less about the opinions of a fat slob like Michael Moore. A job as a faker of life by Hollywood stars does not make them experts on politics. Most of these people have the IQ of a slug, don't even know enough to put on underpants in the morning and yet they get airtime for their idiotic opinions. The Noble peace prize winners have turned out to be some of the biggest fabricators and liars in the world and yet they continue to get air time. Many of them are a waste of good oxygen in my opinion. I have never been much of a movie fan, prefer to read the book, my imagination is always more vivid and exciting than the movie, except maybe for Hunt For The Red October and Greatest Little Whorehouse In America. The day we started letting these fakes control what we think and do was the beginning of the end of the society our forefathers envisioned.
UH, Adam-Phil, here's some factoids for ya. When was the last time a member of the Royal Family of American Progressville, the Kennedys, wore America's military uniform? Drum roll, please...World War Two, with US Navy Lt. jg. JFK. That's right. And what did His Majesty, young Lt. JFK do for America? Through Daddy's influence, JFK got a cushy, safe stateside desk job in Washington. He then fouled up there by getting into an affair with a woman who was a Nazi spy. That's right, the Kennedy's traditional weakness, their, um, "zipper problem", got JFK into hot water for his ongoing affair with a Nazi spy. J Edgar Hoover himself blew the whistle to Naval Intelligence on JFK.
But, rather than being court-martialed for "conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman", Daddy intervened again to protect feckless son JFK. JFK was then exiled to the South Pacific, to a PT Boat squadron. He then ultimately lost his PT Boat 109 by falling asleep at the controls one night and getting it rammed and sunk by an enemy destroyer. For decades, the Kennedy Machine covered that up, by among other things, lucratively taking care of the PT-109 survivors. It did eventually come out, and was corroborated by several of the crewmen. Real War Hero JFK, eh?!
Now as to conservative politicians and Vietnam. Just one example for contrast: Dubya was an F-102 fighter pilot in the US Air Natl Guard. He TWICE volunteered for Vietnam duty. However, F-102s being an air superiority/interceptor fighter not being used in the S.E. Asia theater, his request was not acted upon. It's been noted that the F-102 was a difficult and dangerous aircraft to fly. It had more non-combat fatal crashes than any other US fighter of that era. Volunteering for an F-102 pilot was not the choice of cowards or slackers.
There's a whole lot more I could write on these general topics but I leave it to Adam-Phil to do some googling and reading, with an open mind. (Not that that will happen. It's easier for lazy leftards to make glib cheap shots, safely behind the walls of their tightly closed minds.)

Adam had Andrew Breitbart on one of his podcasts a couple of months ago, and Adam was brilliant. No doubt that this guy has a conservative streak in him. He had a blow up with Ann Coulter not long ago, but most people do. No doubt that this guy is a real patriot.
They have intermarried & had babies with each other so often. Hollywood is just one incetious pool of hillbillys.

The problem with Hollywood is that it is populated by people who are willing to do anything to further their career. Once they achieve fame, they lecture the rest of us. Badmouthing their country would have been unthinkable for Stewart, Gable, Bogart, etc. The ones who exhibit class like Denzel Washington and don't play the game are few and far between.
