In tonight's Tippity amusement a ballsy Swede channels his inner Cro-Magnon as he demonstrates the proper technique for dealing with a nanny state crusader charging moose.

Stephen Griffiths was a violent fellow. He slit the throat of a security guard when he was just 17; later, he poured boiling water on one ex-girlfriend while she was sleeping, and criminally harassed and threatened another. Prison doctors diagnosed Griffiths as a violent psychopath.

Theodore Dalrymple:

"Such was the man whom the University of Bradford selected to pursue a doctorate in homicide studies, a subdivision of the Department of Criminal Justice Studies, with fees and living expenses paid by the government."

He sure did his homework:

"In 2009 and 2010, while pursuing his doctorate in the program, Griffiths killed and ate three women, two cooked and one raw, according to his own account..."

This is not possible. The lefties assured us that the one thing had nothing to do with the other, and the lefties are so smart!

That was a yearling calf moose, but still cool... the other fella you mention suffers from a lead deficiency.

I'd like to see the Swede try that with a bull moose during the rutting season.

Men are braver in those situations. My husband and I encountered a moose while walking on a trail in Cypress Hills Park. I ran towards the nearest big climbable tree while he just stood there calmly. After the moose wandered off, he was giggling and smirking as he approached me ... until he saw my glare. So I guess that makes him both brave and wise, right?

Ezra in fine form tonite on SunNews putting the screws to James Moore (Minister responsible for funding the CBC. Coward won't show!).

He's really growing into his role, and I love the head-on approach and his not-so-subtle satire. Leftards must be going nuts! Oh, I forgot, they only watch CBC, so they're still clueless.

Next order of business- start petitioning PMSH and Conservative caucus members to oust this lefty-socialist benedict arnold, and start representing 'the people who brung ya'!

Snagglepuss, I have to pinch myself sometimes when I watch Ezra, just to see if I'm really here in Canada. He's great...it's like watching history unfold.

RT: I don't know if this might have been posted while I was away, but here's a look at a five star luxury hotel with swimming pool, spa, Turkish bath, sauna, uniformed waiters, etc....in Gaza.

Oh come ON! Moose are rather nice critters who usually go out of their ways to avoid trouble.
And they convert shrubs and weeds into very tasty meat, better than beef.
They are true benefactors of mankind. As you can plainly see, they have nothing in common with nanny state crusaders.

This is how we intend to deal with carbon tax in Australia.

As the new aussie heroine says "I'm not stupid". Note the patronizing pat from our PM. She is such a cow.

The common sense old lady just schooled her, she never had a chance at getting it...

Further to what Snagglepuss was referring to, Ezra's continuous attacks against the Tories is proof-positive of the Big Lie that was the criticism of Sun News TV. Thankfully Sun News is not some appendage of the Conservative Party of Canada, unlike the CBC which is definitely connected at the hip (and possibly a few other places) with the Liberal Party of Canada.

I kept waiting for the lady in OZ to say to Gillard "STOP touching me".

Does anyone know what happened to the lawfare suit filed by Suzuki against Tim Ball?
I kicked it a few bucks for his defense via PayPal but the money's still sitting there.

Part of the problem is that the public is so susceptible to being fooled. The debt limit stands above 14 trillion. The left offers cuts in spending in the billions. I would guess that not one in twenty voters could tell you what fraction of a trillion is a billion. They both sound like big numbers, that is all. They’re both more than the number of a leftist’s fingers and toes.

A billion is one tenth of one percent of a trillion; a fortieth of one percent of four trillion. Even if it weren’t smoke and mirrors, or a vague promise about a future cut, it is an unmeasurably small fraction of the needful thing. Socrates remarked long ago, many of our problems arise from a simple failure to understand geometry: i.e., the proportions among things."

There are three good letters in the National Post today about the lunacy of allowing Muslim prayers in a Toronto public school during school hours. Ghettoizing and giving special entitlements to Muslims, separating the girls, and singling out those who are menstruating is quite unacceptable—not to mention “dhimmying” the rest of us. These really important aspects of this grave problem were all addressed.

However, I’m disappointed that two other, important issues have largely been overlooked, especially the lack of mentioning—even on Sun TV—the contrast to how Christianity, the basis of our moral code and, in fact, of our education systems, themselves (and many other societal goods), has been treated versus Islam.

While the public systems turned rabidly secular and “threw the [Christian] blaggards out”, with gusto, they’re now making nice with a religion that’s backward and violent. If the idiots who run education think Christianity’s bad—usually out of sheer ignorance and misplaced malice—wait until they see the end result of letting Islam “in from the cold”. One letter writer uses that tired—and, frankly, altogether annoying—“equivalency” argument: “Will our politically correct educators and politicians learn nothing from the European experience with Islam and other religions?”

WHAT OTHER RELIGIONS? It’s Islam that’s the bully and it’s Christianity, the adherents of which built the free West, that’s been and is being bullied, slandered and libelled. That’s a nasty cancer at the heart of the secularized West—and look where that's taking us. I’d like to see someone in the media principled enough to tackle this “dirty little secret”.

The other, overlooked issue is the utter waste of the rest of the school’s time while the Muslim students are at prayer. Everyone will just mark time and teachers will be paid their considerable salaries to NOT do their jobs. I wonder what Chris Spence, the Director of the TDSB, thinks of that. I think it’s despicable.

If the TDSB is allowed to continue with this dangerous and discriminatory idiocy—in direct contravention of its clearly stated “Equity [sic] Policy”, it’s another giant step toward our own dhimmitude. Are Canadians stupid and disengaged enough to let this happen? I’m afraid my answer would be yes. Kyrie eleison.

Commenting on the US Ceiling for their Treasury debt.

The last time the US funded debt decreased was 1960, since then not one penny has been repaid, this is 51 years. Since 1971 97% of the Treasury debt has been incurred with 40% since early 2007. The US has more per capita debt than Greece! Obama wants to raise the debt ceiling some 2.4 TRILLION dollars, the 76th time this ceiling has been raised, just for the next 15 months, until he is kicked out of office. To continue to raise the ceiling at this time frame over the next decade will add $20 TRILLION dollars to the debt, some 20 times the deficit reduction they are arguing about. Stop SPENDING as Santelli, the founder of the TEA Party yells but they wont.

For those posters bleating about tax the rich it is estimated if the US didn’t just tax its rich but confiscated everything they had, the Gates, the Buffetts, all of it, it would last 9 days and 23 hours at the rate the US spends money! The US borrows primarily from itself now, some $188 million dollars an hour, 24/7 365 days a year.
The actual US unemployment figure is 21% with blacks 16-24 at 45%, 1 in 20 homes are vacant with the banks holding millions more on their books that are not released yet but will be. Does this sound like a country that can be further taxed? There is no recovery and the sole reason for all this debacle is the US government, all parties going back decades have only added to the size of its government with massive unions and bloated bureaucracies.

They must do what Ford is doing in Toronto, make government small and functional. Anything that is not its core mandate is privatized or off the table. This is not optional. If it is not done we will, cities , states/provinces and countries, simply collapse.

Of course, the US government (like most governments in the developed world) has no time or resources to prevent Third World scumbags from coming in, much less deport them when they inevitably stir up trouble for the rest of us.

They do, however, seem to have plenty of time and resources to make it harder for a fed-up, overtaxed, underpaid, overregulated American to get the passport he'll need if he wants to leave.

My wife's parents remember Romania in the 1980's, when Ceausescu sold ethnic Germans to West Germany and Jews to Israel to pay off his debts. With developed world debt out of control it won't be long before civilized Westerners will be tax-peons in their own countries---unless, of course, they have wealthy relatives in South America, Russia, India or East Asia willing to buy them exit visas in gold or silver coin (armies and Third World mobs have to be bought off with something, and the end is in sight for all forms of central bank confetti).

Don't say you weren't warned.

Meanwhile, traitors and Communists in Northern Ireland use the annual July 12 celebration by loyal Britons in Northern Ireland of Britain's Glorious Revolution and the victory of English liberty and law over absolutism as an excuse to whip up two days of rioting and terror against innocent people.

"‘Count your blessings, Canada,’ OECD head says

Canadians should consider themselves privileged to have a majority government in these difficult times, says the head of the OECD.

“Count your blessings Canada, you just got a majority government,” Angel Gurria, secretary-general of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, told participants at the Conference of Montreal on Monday.

Many other countries are trying to cope with the fallout from the global economic crisis with governments that change frequently or that are caretaker or minority governments, he said.

Canada, on the other hand, is well-positioned in terms of its political stability, which adds to an already enviable status as a country that managing well through the economic downturn, said Mr. Gurria."

"The diplomats are probably worried about what happens if it is officially known who the “militants” are. It would upset too many narratives and expose too many lies."

"About the only thing certain in these cases is that the mysterious “militants” have struck again, as the AP notes in its video below. Who they work for is a matter of conjecture. But the obstacle to their identification may less be problems with detection as much as problems with politics. The diplomats are probably worried about what happens if it is officially known who the “militants” are. It would upset too many narratives and expose too many lies. In the end, it may be better to accept the death of a few dozen Indians in Mumbai for the sake of a useful lie."

Since Quebec has announced that it will consider setting up its own Gun Registry, the Harper Government has already fired back that they will not assist any Province "considering such stupidity."

But we all know that the way things work with Quebec, the ROC will end up paying for yet another of their wasteful choices, be it directly or indirectly.
