Does anyone know why Theo Caldwell is no longer on Sun News Network?
Skweeker
He is being replaced by Michael Coren.
Here are two candidates for the Darwin trophy.

"Does anyone know why Theo Caldwell is no longer on Sun News Network?":
WHAT???
Theo Caldwell is my FAVOURITE!
I find this hard to believe:(
While financial trouble has been brewing in the us for sometime the gravity of the situation is beginning to strain more than a few observers on the right and centre-right and even on the left. The lack of leadership from the dems is really getting to them and some soberminded individuals are losing their temper. A case in point is this outburst by the very moderate and usually even-toned Evan Thomas - a commentator I have watched and respected for over two decades:
http://dailycaller.com/2011/07/03/newsweeks-evan-thomas-rips-obama-speech-he-was-being-a-god-expletive-democrat/
When I see guys like Thomas get upset it really hits home that the US is teetering on the edge of financial meltdown - a full-on fiscal stroke - to borrow Hugh Hewitts term - with a complete lack of leadership at the very top. It's bad enough that Obama is the uber-narcissist, but that he is utterly incompetent and ideologically completely on the wrong path truly is cause for despair. Until I saw this thomas video I thought that simply waiting out Obama and punting him in 2012 would be okay - now I am far less sure that America can avoid catastrophe that long with Obama as POTUS.
I have been over at the cbc site annoying the inhabitants and moderators for a few hours regarding the flotilla of fools.
While looking up some facts I've come across a website that is called the " Palestinian Bureau of Statistics". This website is maintained by the palestinian gov't and has some rather startling facts about life in the world's largest concentration camp.
Here is one little known fact, directly from their site.
Results show that 22% of the households
in the Palestinian Territory have a private
car including 30% in the West Bank and
7% in Gaza Strip, whereas the percentage
of households that have a refrigerator in
the Palestinian Territory is 97%. Also 94%
households in the Palestinian Territory
have Satellite\ Dish, while 47% have
Computer.
But,but,but,..... Much more can be found at the website.

While I respect Ezera, Brian Lilley has impressed me the most since the launch of SNN. An underrated newsman.
Theo came across a little too college for the current format...IMHO.
Michael Coren is a natural for the network.
In a somewhat related thought...When do you suppose one of their producers will have an epiphany and offer Kate a guest slot?
A slight correction, the pally website is called the,
" Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics " This link takes you directly to the index of housing conditions, etc.

More on Theo Caldwell's departure

That's not good.
Didn't realize it was that hard being an "environmentalist". All about the "unrecognized emotional trauma of environmental work" at:
http://www.grist.org/living/2011-06-22-do-environmentalists-need-shrinks
Can't imagine what it's like for an "environmentalist" to go to Fort McMurray, they probably need trauma counselling for the remainder of their life. /sarc
sync, I would rate Brian Lilley second; his take on current events is savvy and he's low key. In the recent SunTV poll, I placed him first (Theo was not included...somebody screwed up there!....) I see Caldwell as knowledgeable on many fronts, not least of which is the financial world. I find him quirky, smart, a holder of good values..and he makes me laugh. (He reminds me of Martin Short:) Some of the others get tedious. (They could lose Alex Pearson and I wouldn't mind. Women who feel the need to flex and dominate the space must be off-putting to those who share the table with them.)
I would like to see Mark Steyn, Kate McMillan and Terry Glavin as contributors. Instead, we get Elizabeth May.
Theo 'ginger boy' Caldwell will surely ride again. I can't be the only guy who thinks 2 hour slots for some of these talk shows is kinda long. Theo's the kind of personality that could kick ass and take names in a 30 minute slot.I like his style and found his show entertaining and informative, if a little preachy at times. I watched his show a couple weeks ago after taking about a 6 week break and it seemed like he was hitting his stride. Crappy to see him cut loose...
He's not as polished as Coren, but give him a few years ;)

Soon, I hope! Between dog shows:-)

chutz, no doubt Theo is smart, wrong time place thing as max suggests.
I've never seen Alex Pearson, hence no opinion.
All three of your suggestions bring something substantial to the table...Lizzy on the other hand brings new meaning to the lightness of being.
Ironically enough.
Repost;
Will it spread, or be shouted down as 'racist' by the msm.
Gee, i wonder...

sync..LOL...Lizzie is well-connected on the global leftist-sphere.
loki
I grew up in Fort Mac, my environmental trauma must be...sob...snerk...squivel...actionable!
I'll be O.K. after the settlement...
That's too bad about Theo Caldwell. Most of the time I only saw the last few minutes of the show before Ezra (in which he would drop in to chat with Krista Erickson), but he seemed very comfortable in front of the camera.

lizzie is a metaphor for her ilk. She won the first greeny seat in Canada at the expense of half her voter base.
seems like the smug is becoming concentrated in scattered cesspools of thot.
works for me.
Sync, I heard from someone who lives in Lizzie's latest riding that campaigners came from all over and plastered the area with her signs. They went all out to ensure her win. With May, it's always been about *her* and making sure she has a podium.
Too bad about Caldwell. If they were going to cut someone loose to make room for Coren then Akin or the paint dryingly boring Adler would have been better bets.
"Visser: How the Dutch Gaza Flotilla Backfired Politically
A Dutch ship was organized as part of the Gaza flotilla in order to help Hamas, portray that effort has humanitarian, and create anti-Israel sentiment. The story of how this effort backfired is a fascinating tale of contemporary political warfare. Indeed, the end result has been to make the Dutch debate more pro-Israel and anti-Islamist.
Many articles — often with Dutch Internet media taking the lead — exposed alliances between Dutch far leftists and local Islamists who, together with some Christian groups, formed the organization Nederland-Gaza organizing Dutch participation in the second Gaza flotilla. The result has been a serious public debate and an actual increase in pro-Israel activity and support in the country.
As a result of the organizers’ extremism exposed by these reports, all of the Dutch journalists scheduled to sail to Gaza quit, complaining of the flotilla’s “dictatorial atmosphere, paranoia and mutual distrust.”

Almost sorry to see Caldwell go. A bit cocky and the hand waving and gestures bugged the hell out of me but give him an hour business show like Neil Cavouto and they would have a winner.
@TEXAS CANUCK
I fully share your sentiment's i told my wife that i loved his show he did do a great job , with the hand waving and the "come back" and "caldwell account is now closed" i really wanted to beat his face in , that really annoyed me!! but i like his show and him and found him to be very in your face and i like that .
Kate will never sit on sun news i have asked before and everyone spoke for her she won't respond to me i am not one in her circle.
It's all good though i wouldl iek to see her on there as well.

I've mentioned a couple of times in comments threads, Paul, that I have been asked and declined. Nothing against Sun News, I just detest doing TV.

@ Texas Canuck, agreed. I will miss Theo. I am not saying David Aiken should be replaced, but he seems a little too differential to the lefties.
