This after reading Thomas diLorenzo's Hamilton's Curse and The Real Lincoln and especially the latter's afterward wherein he takes on his critics, many of whom are big government neo-cons (including the Claremont Institute) who refuse to see that Abraham Lincoln destroyed states' rights and Jefferson's republic.

I expect we should have left-handed history classes in CA as well - and soon.

During my brief, life-wasting foray into the looney-left blogosphere over the weekend (I am a shell of my former self) I referred to California (in the context of a larger "debate" over illegal immigration) as a "failing state"; I was informed by an ostensible Californian that any problems in California were due to the too-low tax-rate, rich Rebublicans being unwilling to pay their share.

Anyway, I say they give the whole place back to Mexico and then really seal the borders.

Same thing with the United Church of Canada. It went from being a church of Christ to a hobby horse of the left, and its membership is declining rapidly. I was baptized and confirmed in the United Church, married a Catholic, and am happily raising my girls in the Catholic church. In a long book series I read "the Sword of Truth" the 'good-guys' are in a fight against socialist style tyranny that is ramped in most the world.

In the end, the Richard Rahl(protagonist) realizes that you can in fact "not make a horse drink the water", as the socialist wave only exists if the ocean of people desire such socialism.

The end solution in this Fantasy series, was to create an alternate reality/world where those that desired liberty would be taken(via magic of course); and the rest who blamed those from the Mid-lands (the only democratic society) for the woes of the rest of the world, would be left to their own devises, as they would finally get their wish.

Anyways, this got me to thinking, wouldn't it be grand if we could do the same for all the white folks(and those that love liberty)?

Then we could sit-by and witness the rest of mankind's history unfold (without crackers) from afar; and perhaps say "I told you so".

It is my belief that most people in the world agree with the idea that: if there were no white people, then everything would be okay. It will be interesting to see what finally happens when all of the white people are gone; as that day will finally come. I wonder who they will blame then?

As for your complaint about earthquakes and such - surely you can understand the analogy (lack of science and reason) between a claim that 'scantily dressed women cause earthquakes'...and..'being gay/lesbian is directly causal of some eventful historical accomplishment'.

It won't stop there. We will have to go back in history and categorize every achievement under sodomites, onanists, sapphists, sophists (I think the last two are different), and round things out with achievers who are asexual, bisexual, trans-sexual. This isn't about enlightened thinking for these homosexuals.
It's about staking their claim to special treatment as an identity group who view everything through the lens of their single defining feature, their abnormal sexual taste.
So they make demands based on that single defining feature and politicians will pander to them as a voting block, just as politicians pander to Muslims as a voting block.

The problem is, homosexuals and Muslims are eventually going to loggerhead.
