And I'm saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime. And I can prove it and I could spend the next 3 hours giving you examples of all of us in this market place that are frightened to death about all the new regulations, our healthcare costs escalate, regulations coming from left and right. A President that seems, that keeps using that word redistribution. Well, my customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration.

Wynn's speech sounds good until you reslize he voted for Obama and still supports Reid who supports Obama. He is all talk no action.
How do you support Ried and oppose Obummer. Two peas one pod. The question is "Will there be anything left of the USA for the tea party to take over?"
When the rubber hits the road, Wynn supports Reid. Sorry to say it, Steve but the biggest problem in you corporation may be you.
He's ranting because he didn't get special treatment or waivers from his pals.
Couldn't the reason be that he has realized how dangerous and incompetent Obama is? Or are people not allowed to learn and thus, change their minds based on these new facts?
"I voted for Obama because I thought he would screw that other guy, not me! Now I realize, 'I'm that other guy!'"
grok nails it.
In fact Obama and Wynn both run the same scam. They take your money on a hokey promise of hope. Wynn's victims are voluntary participants.
" ... regulations coming from left and right." Nope, just from the left.
Great comment, ET.
I would add that our hope for positive change in the future depends on a good slice of those 52% who voted for Obama "learning and thus, changing their minds based on these new facts" that Steve Wynn, a lifelong Democrat, is speaking about the business environment in the U.S.
Wynn's new outlook carries more weight because he voted for Obama and Reid not in spite of it.
I can personally speak to the issue of the difficulty in crossing the border, and attaining a working Visa, as I've just done so this week. It's a bloody nightmare, as it's next to impossible to explain to a $10/hr security guard what I do for a living, why it's necessary to be here, and so on...
In my opinion it's ridiculous considering there are tens of millions of illegal’s from Mexico working illegally, yet as a Canadian I need to produce Degrees, Letters from corporate lawyers, company structures, divulge my income, letters from employers and CEOs, and lest we forget the rubber glove treatment.
Do these people see no value in the thousands I'm spending on accommodations and food and rentals?
The Americans have dun lost their minds! Check that, it's the government that's dun lost its mind, as everyone I've spoken to feels relatively the same as I do.
Personally, I now hope Obama gets his wish, and raises taxes and the debt ceiling. Let him make his own bed! We'll see unemployment above 10% if Obama gets his wish. The Republicans MUST trust the American(Tea Party) people to understand the dynamics in Washington, and play for 2012.
I've no doubt that the base of the GOP will turn-out to support in droves, even if the GOP concedes to Obama's demands. The House has passed its bill, they've done their job.
Now is the time to let Obama handle the puck. Let’s see if he can stick-handle through the mess he's created for himself.
Indiana- US immigration harasses legit people so that the can generate statistics showing how tough they are, with the hope Americans will believe those numbers were generated by pursuing illegals. It's a disgraceful scam.
small c
Agreed. It's similar to throwing more crackers in jail to make the number of certain minorities in jail seem less disproportionate.
IMO "disgusting" is a better descriptor.
Homez, what makes you think the pejorative 'cracker' is any less offensive than pejoratives referring to 'certain minorities'?
Is that the influence of all that rap music you listen to?
Ooz
"Homez, what makes you think the pejorative 'cracker' is any less offensive than pejoratives referring to 'certain minorities'?"
most "racist" speech is so only because someone, like you, may have an emotional need to fill
Well, GIM, Homez was careful to call the non-whites "certain minorities" and then used the pejorative crackers for whites.
Logically, it's a double standard Homez used and I called him on it.
You seem to have an emotional need to answer for Homez, why is that?
My comments excite you.
Please review the comments rules. Thank you.
ET/Oz: You can vote for whom ever you wish and change your mind if you think they have gone against what you believed they would do. I applaud people who do this because it means that they are thinking and not acting like robots. But when you say Obama and his policies are a drag on the economy then say you support Harry(there are no illegles working in Nevada) Reid, who supports Obama, you have shown you are a hypocrite.
customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration.
They should be. In fact if they really knew what was going on behind the curtain, they would all have static shocked white hair , if not coronaries by now.

Yes, Wynn is a hypocrite.
A possible explanation is that Steve Wynn hasn't worked the part about Harry Reid being necessary to Obama's policy success equation out yet.
Wynn is a Democrat, Democrats make a dozen factual disconnects about politics everyday before breakfast without breaking a sweat.
The question is, will Nevadans listen to Wynn and vote their wallets on Obama?
I think many will, Wynn is a huge employer.
Wynn:
And it makes you slow down and not invest your money. Everybody complains about how much money is on the side in America.
Gee, I believe this is what is referred to as a "capital strike".
Kinda reveals what pikers those labour thugs are, doesn't it?
The difference between Steve Wynn and most Democrats is that Steve Wynn has voiced this, directly to Obama, in person, as well as speaking out publicly about it. Wynn is only investing in Macao right now, because the Chinese are at this moment in history easier to do business with than the American gov't.
Wynn's employees love him. He is a consummate capitalist and entrepreneur. I'll be surprised if he remains a Democrat for much longer.
