A naive exercise in what-ifism, this is;
In 1945, there were hundreds of thousands of Jewish survivors living in DP Camps (displaced persons) across Europe. They were fed and clothed by Jewish and international relief organizations. Had the world's Jewish population played this situation as the Arabs and Palestinians have, everything would look very different today.
Well, everything but the UN resolutions. And everything else. Because they're Jews.

Maybe if they concentrated on dominance like the Arabs do instead of just going for the lower bar of living in peace they'd get more respect.
Now, does 1945 not coincide with the end of a fairly large war WE fought against, among other things, anti-semitism?

To Quebecois NDPiste - how exactly have the Jews of Israel oppressed the Palestinians - I think you need a lesson in recent history! The Jews did not chase the Arabs/Palestinians out of Israel after its creation - they left because other Arabs told them to do so and then after the Jews were wiped out, they could come back. The Jews will never be wiped out, there is a reason their armed forces are called the Israeli Defense Force - they must always be on guard against terror and broken peace treaties. It is too bad that other ME countries have not integrated the Palestinians into their countries - but I believe the ME Arabs WANT to keep the Palestinians as victims - it serves their purpose in the UN.
If the Jews did in the late 1940's and 50's what the Palestinians are doing now, they would all be -dead-. The peace loving Europeans would have killed them down to the last newborn and old lady.

For a group who evilly and mysteriously controls everything from behind the curtain, the Jooooos really do seem to suck at not getting genocided and at forcing the world to fawn on them and such.
