but..but its just pining for the Aegean

It's starting to smell like 2008 all over again .

This is what happens when americans don't use 2A to kill their enemies.

As SDA's resident bird "expert", I object to the "political climate" this picture infers.

You are being very very bad Cjunk. How many Right-wing loons will now commit acts of violence against Left leaning Canaries?

It's just stunned.

Canary in the coal mine?
We're trying to fix that bird killing problem by closing all the coal mines and replacing them with wind turbines./Leftist

Shagged out after listening to replays of Obama speeches.

It's probably nothing.

That bird looks mightly like Facebook. So much for the death of blogs.
Obama has killed every industry he's touched. On purpose. Mission almost accomplished.
America failed its IQ test 3 yers ago. This is the result.

Facebook loses 1.5 million users in Canada
Millions More In USA?

I've read countless comments in august journals such as The Huffington Post and The Guardian arguing that debt is unimportant, a boogie man invented by conservatives to scare us into scaling back government.

So nothing to worry about, Greece. Just carry on as before.

I've read countless comments in august journals such as The Huffington Post and The Guardian arguing that debt is unimportant

If debt is so unimportant then why do governments need to collect taxes?

Yes, well eees jus restin!!

A: No eees dead, if you hadn't nailed him to the perch heeed be pushin up the daisies. Eeees run up the curtain and joined the choir eternal. Eeees bloody well snuffed it!!

I think the lefties at the huffpo think you can just print money forever and there will be no consequences in doing so. Ask one of them if they'd like to trade their paycheque for a piece of worthless paper and they'd look at you like you're nuts though.

Shouldn't that be a duck? Maybe a round of golf is all it needs.

Oz:

I think you should get on the HP and ask them. Tell me how it goes.

Hans, Yes, well you can have a pet slug instead.

I have a pet slug you RACIST.

:)

Spend on President Obama ~~ that is until 2012

I've never been to HP, rabbit.
I won't give them the hits.
(I've heard HP isn't doing well and I'm not about to help them)

I have to wonder if Leftists are either all bancrupt or living on the edge of insolvency considering they don't believe in paying for goods and services.
I've known people who we're living a impossible levels of debt but we cut them out of our life because they couldn't pay their own way.
(not that the wife and I get out much)

Well at least we know Obama got one Birdie.
Golf is paying off for him it seems.

Triple C?

Oh, Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

(And I'm not even Catholic.)

To the sophisticated academic Leftist, reality is an intellectual construct embodying current discourses.

Or something like that. "Debt" is just another item of discourse.

I do wonder why S&P bother with the CCC rating. Why don't they just say, "you're squirrel-crazy if you buy those bonds!"

Both mean the same thing, but one is more poetic than the other.

Cjunk,

Is a bird an animal?

Just askin'. (thinkin' about copyright infringement)...

Oz:

I enjoy the HP. It has a certain halucinegenic unworldliness that lets me lay aside the travails of unyielding reality and facts, and ride the waves of socialist epiphany where governments -- not businesses -- generate wealth, where Weiner is a victim of a Republican smear campaign, where we can confiscate all wealth and nationalize all industries and still have a vibrant economy, where Chavez is doing a bang-up job, where Paul Krugman is the very model of economic enlightenment, where ... well, you're only limited by your imagination. Certainly reality is no barrier.

Gee what happens when the interest payments exceed the GNP. I hope Canada is smart enough to not underwrite that debt, let's leave it to the Chinese.

rabbit, my time spent on HuffPo was extremely unrewarding. I had a lot of people "following me" - but it wasn't worth the soul-stealing sickness I felt after doing battle there. To semi-quote JGoldberg, after reading the comments, my face melted kinda like those Nazis in the Indiana Jones movie. I tried to help the cause of sanity, but to little effect.
