I was up at the Britannia Mine Museum much of the day. It's a superb facility that provides both an educational & historical walk through a once famous mining & mineral processing facility. Sooooooo much money came out of the rock there!

Lenin's retreat was calculated in that the Bolsheviks allowed the middle peasants (kulaks) and small business to flourish for a while in order to bring recovery to the economy which the "war communism" and civil war had decimated. Their plan was that after the economy had recovered they continue their plan of socializing all aspects of the economy.

I am a Canadian living in Munich. Munich is a fantastic place to live. World class health care, million times better then Canada. Warmer. Ability to easily travel all over Europe. Excellent public transit. Downtowns not in decline but rather vibrant and pedestrian only. No puck honda's with loud mufflers - they would be blown away but all the porsche, BMW and Mercedes cars. No speed limit on many highways, I drive my ford focus at 180 going to work each day. It rocks.

Went on CBC.Ca for the latest update on the Canada Post strike in Calgary and Edmonton. Comments from taxpayers who are now funding both the CBC and Canada Post are not allowed.

Trust me that most of the comments I saw on previous CBC and other reports were not in Canada Post and/or the CBC's favour!

(And maybe consider the grievous results of throwing overboard the Judeo-Christian God and His rules—those of a loving parent, who sets limits because He cares about the well-being of His kids.)
