For the purposes of grammar-Nazism, subtract Racket and re-write it this way in your head: "Me at the MSC..." vs. "I at the the MSC...".

Yes, Kate used a sentence fragment. But, as that fragment is written, the words "Here is a photo of" are implicit at the beginning. So, she was entirely right to use "me".
