Millions more people watch alternative media than self appointed "Main Stream News" today.

You see, the left has been in drivers seat for so long and controlling the media that they think they are the norm and anyone that deviates from their weltanschaung is to be denigrated.

Much of the American media spent the 2008 federal election dry-humping Obama's leg. It got down-right sticky at times.

The wonder is that Obama only got 53% of the popular vote.

I watched the interview on O'Reilly, probably watch his show once or twice a week. The impression arrived at after the interview was Diane Sawyer was either in over her head as anchor or just desparate to have O'Reilly's viewers understand she was not one of those inept Liberals.

He didn't. He got 53% of the people who bothered to go out and vote. Namely black & minority voters who normally abstain along with allot of dead people via Acorn liberal activism.

I can't recall the exact number of people who actually get off their butts and vote in the US, but it's something like less than 30% of the overall population.

In terms of the popular vote, only 6% divided McCain and BamBam. Or, put another way, they were only a 3% movement from being tied. It drives me crazy when I hear that Obama won by a large margin, and therefore has a mandate for his radical agenda. 3% isn't large in my books.

It truly is a miracle that, despite the MSM dry-humping in 2008, BamBam could only garner a 3% margin over his lackluster competitor.

Harper needs to abolish the gun registry as a priority to prove his credibility to voters first before he moves on.

Sarah Palin's background is middle class, not working class. O'Reilly was wrong (again). Her father was a science teacher and her mother was a school secretary. To quote The Simpsons, that makes them "upper-lower middle-class types". Class can be slippery but that one's pretty easy to pin down. The Palin phenomenon and the media bias thing are both so much about class that it's worth being accurate (inasmuch as a lot of people think that anyone who didn't go to at least Brown might as well be one of the hillbillies from Deliverance).

And someone needs to tell Sawyer to get a make-up artist who isn't just moonlighting from his gig at the funeral home. Yikes.

I would say BOR is not a great interviewer but merely competent. If you are making your judgement just on the Sawyer interview you should bear in mind that they are friends and that they go a long ways back. I think it was awkward and painful for him to do the interview and to have her exposed for the willfully ignorant shill that she has become.

I'm not really English, although I have lived there, but that does give me a sharpened (and, in my experience, claustrophobic and slightly nightmarish) sensitivity to class, which North Americans happily tend to lack.

Any roots the left one had in sticking up for the workers (however poor the grasp of economics) are gone; they represent the exact opposite now; they have become the nomenklatura lite. The modern left has no virtues of any kind.

This woman and her husband are multi-millionaires. What do they care about the challenges of the average American? What do they care that ABC, NBC, CBS gave an unfair advantage to their party of choice in the 2008 election?
