Regular readers will know by now that in addition to delivering a majority Conservative government, your blog mistress has been dividing her time with a fairly busy dog show campaign this spring - from Oregon to Kentucky and many points in between.
While I haven't been posting on wins, lets just say we've been enjoying a series of very successful weekends in both Canada and the US.
Tomorrow I hit the road again for an extended trip stateside, so while I do expect to be posting when time and net access permit, the guest bloggers will again be stepping in to help out. It's a testimony to their skill that traffic stats remain constant during my absences, and as a bonus, the time away from a screen this spring has done wonders for my eyesight. For the first time in years, I can read a racing program without glasses. Not that it's done anything for my wagering.
Please mind your manners in the comments, and if activity here slows from time to time during the next three weeks, remember there's a whole wide world waiting out there - push away from the computer and enjoy it!

Kate,
Are you still using a CRT monitor by chance? If so, that is the source of your sore eye woes. After switching to LCD, I couldn't believe the difference - the relief from eyestrain. And yes, that CRT was adjusted for the best refresh operation possible.
My 2.5cents.
Well, I hope you received a warm welcome in Kentucky, my home state. Per chance were you showing your dog at the show held in Drawbridge Hotel complex? I see we have many dog shows there each year.
Well, good luck at the pooch shows, Kate, and stop to smell the roses and enjoy the scenery too.
Semper Fido!
I wish you every success in your current showing campaign Kate.
I admit to know nothing about dog breeding or showing.
Here in Woodstock Ontario the Oxford Kennel Club is holding its 53rd annual showing on July 8, 9 and 10 in Southside Park.
I have no knowledge where the Oxford Kennel Club ranks in standings, however I suspect after a half century in competition they must be well placed.
So if by chance you ever compete here in Woodstock Kate, I want you to know that I have some two year old Saskatoon bushes in my back yard that would make you feel as if you were at home in Delisle.
And, as an aside Kate, I want to see you get involved with SUN TV as a contributor, because they are currently floundering and need "YOU, Kate" to focus Canadians onto the new Free, Shaw Conservative TV Channel!
Don't be so modest on your achievements. You should include slaying the global warming sky dragon and interring the MSM while helping the rest of us live longer by avoiding unhealthy food.
My talents are many, this is true, Walter. And "N", don't worry, there are plenty of administrators on board with both the skills and permission to ban anyone they think worthy.
Kick tails Kate and have a safe trip(s).
Good luck Kate and puppies! I agree with Joe, Sun TV needs you! There is just something missing, I enjoy it but they need more content. Ezra has kinda turned weird too, he loses credibility with his antics.
Kate, if and when you get a chance, would love to get your views on how our friends to the south are feeling these days regarding their government and their country.
All the best Kate and justacanuck makes a good point. It worked for me to.
Have a safe one Kate. Avoid Congressmen.
Just wondering if the CPC has sent you a thank you note... ;)
Have safe travels, enjoy your critters (horses and pups) and thanks again for a great blog!
Wishing you all the best in your endeavours down south.
Stay well, drive carefully.
Directly related to pooches, these photos are beyond priceless!
Good Luck Kate, drive carefully. Like bluetech, I am curious about the thank-you note I hope CPC has sent you.
Trust Us. Yes'm you betcha Maam.
Kate, you're aggravating my abandonment issues. (So is EBD come to that.)
Glad about the doggie-winning, though.
I would send my one dog with you, as he could turn a dogshow into uncontrolled mayhem in 30 seconds or less, but he's grounded, as I had to bail him out of jail the other day cuz he and the other dog took a unscheduled walkabout and got nabbed:-))))
AND GOOD LUCK AT THE SHOWS
Don't eat any organic bean sprouts!
