I think I saw some of those researchers at the Terry Fox Foundation flipping cars a couple days ago.

Yes, Betty Fox was a great lady, and a fine wife and mom. All Canada is proud of her son and of her for keeping Terry’s light burning so lovingly and diligently for so long. The money raised in memory of Terry Fox has given hope to countless people. God bless Terry and Betty Fox.

I remember interviewing her about 14 years ago, talked for about a half hour. She impressed me with her energy and optimism despite her hardships, and was a very inspiring speaker. Celebrities die every day, everyone owes a funeral to go with the birth, but some of them are felt a bit more. She was one of the rare breed that contributed more than she took. RIP.
