This blistering headline was 6th from the top of a Google search for Michele Bachmann.
Nevertheless someone at MSNBC seems to think she did quite well in the debate last night.

The stench of the Leftard is moral as well as physical. It can’t express itself without use of obscenities. Or, more accurately, its “thought” never rises above the most trivial of obscenities.
The Bachmann does appear rather formidable. Sarah Palin is tough but doesn’t seem it. Michele Bachmann comes across as tough enough for the job.
If Michele Bachmann won the nomination, and if she selected Michael Turner, the congressman from Ohio, as her running mate, we would have the Bachmann-Turner ticket.
No shortage of punchy campaign songs.
Wow. Stay classy.
I like it,rabbit!
“Takin’ Care of Business”, unlike the current Prez!
If you watched last night’s insipid GOP debate in New Hampshire, you probably knew what you were gonna see going in: a bunch of rich white people (and the Godfather’s Pizza guy) patting each other on the back
Notice the racist focus on skin color from the Leftie writer.
So the GOP has a dearth of candates with the caliber of Barack Obama, Charlie Rangel, and Alvin Greene.
Exit polls said that 92+% Black American voters voted for Barack Obama and the Dems are still holding the lion’s share of that demographic.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
~Martin Luther King, Jr.
Of course MLK was a registered Republican so if he were alive today this writer would probably be referring to him as “the Baptist Pastor” like he referred to Herman Cain as “the Godfather’s Pizza Guy”.
Oz- Cain’s pizza restaurants were known as the ‘Godfather’s Pizza’.
I’d ignore the leftist garbage. I’m still saying that the MSM won’t attack Bachmann because she’s already within, inside, the Washington bubble.
But – Thomas Sowell wrote, today, his support for Tim Pawlenty.
“Some fear that Governor Pawlenty doesn’t have the charisma and pyrotechnic rhetoric that they would like to see in a candidate. Charisma and rhetoric are what gave us the current disastrous administration in Washington. Charisma and rhetoric gave people in other countries even bigger disasters, up to and including Hitler.
Politicians and the media may want a candidate who uses verbal fireworks, but the people want jobs. As Tim Pawlenty put it, “Fluffy promises of hope and change don’t buy our groceries, make our mortgage payments, put gas in our cars, or pay for our children’s clothes.”
“Among the other announced Republican presidential candidates, former governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota talks the most sense and shows the most courage. It takes guts to tell people in a corn-producing state like Iowa that you want to cut back on ethanol subsidies, because Iowa will also produce the first results in next year’s primary campaign season. And first results, like other first impressions, carry a lot of weight.
But somebody has got to talk sense about our dire economic problems — and it is painfully clear that Barack Obama will not be that somebody. The fact that Pawlenty has put his neck on the line to do so is a big plus.”
So it begins.
And what rabbit said.
Bachmann has only one L in Michele.
I find it rather odd that many Canadian conservatives who say they are quite happy with Harper are not equally happy with his American version (Romney) and prefer various candidates further to the right, all of whom would be back-benchers in the current CPC which favours Red Tories.
Does anyone else find this odd?
Umm, before we all get TOO lathered up over this, please look at the lower right hand page copywrite.
The AV Club is published by The Onion, and thus, it may not be intended to be taken really seriously.
Seriously.

I’m not sure that you notice, but we are/were stuck with only ONE option for a rite wing gov’t, and that was Harper!!!!
good catch mhb. the onion (home)is in the top left too.
Exactly GYM.
Peter, if you have a more conservative alternative to PM Harper, I would like to hear it. Otherwise I’m supporting the most conservative candidate.
I like Bachmann I just found out she was a tax lawyer at Treasury. She is poised and confident. They’ve done worse.
Bashir was wondering aloud a few days ago if Palin’s use of the Stars and Stripes on the outside of her campaign bus (or whatever you’d call it) was legal. Seriously, he was. He just really hates Palin. And he’s the male Christianne Amanpour; a not-awfully-bright lefty coasting on a posh British accent.
(BTW, is “Rob” Robert W. or do we have more than one?)
What GYM said @ 9:41. Especially now that there were more “conservatives” elected from Ontario. Lets give him four years and see if the Conservative Party becomes tweedle dee.
Governor Pawlenty or Michele Bachmann or Pawlenty and Bachmann? Hmmm? Santorum is all right too. Hermann Cain is good. Romney is too progressive for me.
Oz- Cain’s pizza restaurants were known as the ‘Godfather’s Pizza’.
~ET
Yeah, I knew that.
Th writer, Philip James Hart, doesn’t mention Herman Cain by name.
When I use the term ‘the pizza guy’ I’m usually referring to some kid who delivers it to my door, not a successful millionaire businessman who built a coast-to-coast empire.
Beware, the Google news search engine is heavily biased.
This is awkward. Don’t feel bad, though. Lots of people get fooled by Onion. I link to it on Facebook occasionally, and always catch a few people off guard. The comments on Youtube run about 75% people who don’t realize it’s satire. It reminds me of the old National Lampoon magazine.
Rabbit, good one: “If Michele Bachmann won the nomination, and if she selected Michael Turner, the congressman from Ohio, as her running mate, we would have the Bachmann-Turner ticket.
And if Anthony Weiner runs for president and chooses attorney general Eric Holder as his running mate it will be the Weiner-Holder ticket.
The AV Club is part of The Onion, but it’s not satirical.
Nobody got fooled — they ARE this nasty.
I used to feel regret for throwing firecrackers into the AV Club meeting room in highschool.
Thanks doofuses.
