As they were about his 57 states, his speeches filled with misleading and totally false data (about health care, about the economy, etc).

And how about listening to his constant whining about the reasons for the economic problems. Of course, it's always Bush's fault - he ignores that the Democrats controlled the House for the last two years of Bush's office.

And, he declares that ATM's 'take away jobs' (they've been around for a generation...and what about the jobs required to make them??]..and the next day he declares that 'robots can increase jobs' (an ATM is a robot, after all!).

Now, he's whining that 'corporate jets' are signs of the greedy GOP - when it was the Democrats who, in 2007, insisted on their tax exempt status, and Obama's govt that makes the most use of such jets..and limousines.

It's the whole situation of not holding Obama to account that is the problem.

The main difference between gaffes of Obama and say Palin or Bachmann, is that the former has an army of palace guard eunuchs like George Snuffleupagus to cover for him while attacking the later.

Though I am loathe to approach anything resembling a defense of Obama, could this just be him rounding? I do this, it is a form of shorthand. If I made a statement April 25th, five days prior to my birthday, regarding age, I would have stated I was 30 years old, though I wouldn't turn 30 for five more days.
I have been doing this since I was about 12 or 13. I feel it more honestly reflects my age without the bother of qualifying statements like, "I am almost 30".
Maybe I am lazy, but this is hardly a gaffe.

Now if attention is brought to this to criticize, not Obama, but the MSM who would have printed calendars celebrating the stupidity of George Bush had he done the same thing, I am OK with that.
