Not only does she think for herself, she's out there taking heat - and getting sued - to preserve the freedom of speech that enables twerps such as alex to quip in his undergrad style.
Despite my admiration, though, she should refrain from commenting on music. (Great gal, horrible taste in music!)

The problem is that no one takes you seriously if you are too nice. Unless you are naturally charming, learning when it is appropriate to be mocking and sarcastic or when it is necessary to be obnoxious and bitchy is an essential part of being effective. It's kind of like "attack" ads, everyone complains about how terrible they are but they work because human nature secretly enjoys conflict (but people are too nice to admit it).

I hope Kathy Shaidle is now going to complain to the HRC that her feelings have been hurt, her self-esteem diminished and her kinder, gentler feminine psyche besmirched by the hateful speech posted here by Colin in Mission B.C.

And one more thing - isn't it GRRRRRREAT to have Sun News Network available now!!! You'd NEVER have a segment like this on ANY other Canadian network!

I have to agree a tad with dmorris as Ezra could be a bit more the host and less a co-commentator. But it does seem that SunTV is the only one that continues this type of coverage.

On the other hand, Kathy is bloody great and she and her husband (BCF) have done a lot for Canada by questioning the need for the human rights lefty inquisition and documenting their abuses.

Their reward is getting sued by he whose name cannot be mentioned.

Mind you, there is not likely to be many Liberals or Green party advocates for another 8 years so perhaps this too will change.

There, they could find a lot of people likely to offend. And I would like to see them mixing it up with such persons, as an educational project.

If any survived, they could slink back to Canada and apologize for their over-reaction to free speech.

I don't get the "Ezra, tone it down" thing. I didn't register a lot of interrupting when I watched the vid. Remember, it's a talk segment, not an exchange of pristine monologues; Ezra was not trying to shut Kathy up.

I didn't see a lot of interrupting as much as Ezra doing most of the talking and not enough of letting Kathy do her thing. He "led the witness" pretty badly, to the extent that it seemed like Kathy was stuck in the Sigourney Weaver role from Galaxy Quest.

I like and admire them both, there's just some technical being-on-TV skills that need to be honed here.

Obviously Kathy is too shy and reserved. She should speak up and not be afraid to interrupt Ezra and say what she thinks. /s

I have the privilege of being able to watch Fox News, but I wish I could stream Sun TV. There is a "watch live" link, but it seems not to work for me, maybe its my U.S. IP address.

Keep posting the video from Sun, seems lots of Canadians don't have access to this yet on their cable packages. I love to have access to sane thought!

Great video Robert and thanks for posting it, as I missed on Sun. I enjoyed Kathy tell us her views on the kangaroo courts when she could.

Great to see this sort of stuff and I hope it's starting to make the class of people who get their news from TV think about things differently than if they watch only the MSM.

Will be interesting to see if R****** W***** sues Sun TV for mentioning his launching most of the S13 complaints. In fact, I'd love to see a suit like this as it would show him up as an absolute moron as what Ezra did was make a simple factual statement.

It will be refreshing to be in a situation again in this country when truth is again an absolute defense.

And now, the CPC Is about to make things worse, courtesy of C51, the omnibus crime bill.

Well, for the record, I like Ezra—a lot.

Yes, he talks fast and a lot, but he makes sense and says really important things that need to be said. Ezra’s walked the walk. I respect him.

As an aside I figure Sun news ought to put up more free streaming. It would gain more viewers in the long run. TV is becoming redundant as a medium on its own.

@CanuckInMI -- correct, you can't currently stream Sun News live from the US. You shouldn't have any problems watching clips from their site, though I agree that's not as good.

@Daniel Ream Yeah, I like Ezra a lot too, but he really needs to pick up some technical on-air skills now that he is a host and let guests finish their sentences, even when he agrees with them.

Constructive criticism!

-Ezra is talking over the guest, and generally talking too much in the segment. Like, WAY too much. Somebody somewhere has probably figured out the correct ratio of guest-to-host down to the millisecond, Ezra needs coaching on following that ratio.

TV presentation has a style sheet, it detracts from the show when the style sheet doesn't get followed. Quite a bit actually, I'm surprised. Ezra is saying things which are good, just far too much of him talking for the segment.

-Kathy is assuming the audience knows what a "professional victim" is, that could have been better explained. Would have been, had she been able to TALK more.

Other than that, it is AWESOME seeing people talk on TV about the subjects we've all been screaming about these many years on-line.

-Kathy has the best lines EVER at about 5:20, "When victims collide", and "you need your decoder ring to figure out who is this week's special government pet." Its like a blast of straight oxygen to a man slowly smothering.

Now for all you Shaidle-haters, Kathy Shaidle is this little short broad from Hamilton, she's got some attitude on her, and she's out there taking the slings and arrows from the Left so y'all don't have to. She's a godd@mn political kung fu fighter and social samurai for -our- side of the Culture Cold War.
