32 Replies to “The Reality We Live In”

  1. Read this the other night from a twitter link. I asked then and never got a response,
WTH is a “Two spirit people”?

  2. Abe, in this story they’re the one’s being aborted for not having the gay gene.

  3. This is Pope Benedict’s “dictatorship of relativism” in action: Alice in Wonderland territory.
These people are stark, staring CRAZY—and they’re pretty well in charge of, or beyond criticism by, most of our major institutions.
We’re headed, at break neck speed, beyond the rainbow and over the falls, guys and gals. (Whoops! I’ve left out the other dozen or so new genders.)
    Give. Me. A. Break.

  4. “TWO-HEADED WOMAN GIVES BIRTH TO HALF ZEBRA, HALF BOY AFTER MARRIAGE WITH ALIEN FROM OUTER SPACE”
It used to be fun to pick up the crazy tabloids when we were kids and read stories like that — ’cause you knew it could never be true. The headlines were always accompanied by a “photo” of the freak of nature cooked up by the arts department.
Not anymore — here’s my prediction for a real MSM headline in 2030:
“Canada’s NDP pushes bill through Parliament recognizing the rights of transidentity-morphsexuals to marry their pets — recognizing them as spouses with full government benefits”.
According to Mike Layton — son of the late NDP leader Jack — there has been a rabid increase of transidentity-morphsexophobia in spite of mandatory sex education programs beginning with six-month old Canadian infants. “The morphsexophobes are out of control in this country”, stated the MP Layton, calling for greater tolerance and more police powers to enforce it.

  5. New Headline : Progressive feminists unintentionally prove Darwin’s female inferiority theory

  6. Correction: actually “morphsexuals” would be incorrect — the politically-correct term would be “anthropomorphsexuals”.

  7. I think this is one of those “let’s pray for an asteroid” moments.
I’m with Abe @ 3:08. With apologies to the late George Carlin, what ever happened to good old-fashioned, garden variety “man on top, get it over with quick” relations?

  8. The femi’nazi’ battle cry:
    “Abort zem, abort zem all!
Which is why we need a duck & dog registry in Canada
These quasi guys are quack quack quackers
“Let some flowers bloom here, let democracy breathe. Let it live,” Ignatieff implored Conservative leader Stephen Harper in one exchange during the debate.

  9. I just had to use a disinfectant on my monitor after that video. If I come down with some unusual disease in the next few hours, I’m blaming Kate.

  10. Stop saying and stop thinking that abortion is a women’s issue. That’s it. Pretty simple right? But incredibly important.
It never was a “women’s issue”.
It was always a “right to life” issue, respect for human life issue, and about abortions devaluing human life, all human life.
Am I the only one noticing a much greater frequency of mother’s killing their children?
How do you suppose they justify it in their minds?
“I could have aborted them as babies, killing them now is my choice.”

  11. The baby has different DNA from the mother, correct? So it really isn’t “her” body any longer.
I like one of the comments – where’s the ‘social justice’ for the unborn and for the potential father? Or are they second-class citizens in the eyes of oppressive feminists?

  12. Men must be having abortions all the time. How else do you explain their low birth rate?

  13. I figure we’re one, maybe two, generations into this “reality is just something we make up” schtick. It permeates our public discourse; it’s the guiding “philosophy” in our faculties of education and therefore in our children’s classrooms; it infects much, but not all, of what passes for “higher education”; it explains the otherwise incomprehensible—Obama, for example.
What’s surprising, although it probably shouldn’t be, is the number of kids coming out of our schools who’ve manage to keep their heads screwed on right, who see the b.s. for what it is. There may be hope for us yet.

  14. Progressives are strange and repulisive they think people can go around changing their gender and their private parts by wishing on a star or somethin. Those flakes need to go back to their marginalized corner and STFU.

  15. Honestly Kate, I think you should have a limit on the level of “crackpotness” you link to on the blog. That article was like reading something alien; I’ve never seen anything to far out in left field. It was like the type of thinking you would come up with after repeatedly smashing your head into a brick wall. Those types and that type of thinking shouldn’t have attention given to them.

  16. Pierce said: “I think you should have a limit on the level of “crackpotness” you link to on the blog.”
I’d agree Pierce, except my tax dollars are paying for this crap. These people are “academics”, Canadian universities have entire departments of “Womyn’s Studies” devoted to the creation and propagation of these “notions”.
Its as transparent a scam as there’s ever been. The whole thing exists purely as a way to sponge funding from wealthy universities to pay for tenured “scholars” whose entire body of work consists of name calling and meaningless drivel.
Just one more reason why we should all be getting a huge tax cut.
BTW, nice teeth on that Jos Truit guy/chick whatsit. Eyebrows too.

  17. Men having abortions..
    Women giving birth…
Cows and horses sleeping in the same barn.

Nothing can compare to the frigging kidney stone I suffered through….
    THE PAIN, THE PAIN..

  18. Why are feminists crude, crass, semi-literate retards?
Oh, never mind! I don’t want an answer.
We should never give money or power to people such as these. There should be no reason why weirdos and idiots have power over me or anyone else with higher brain functions. It’s actually a waste of time parsing through their illogical and inhumane crap.

  19. Abortion is sick. It is not religion, but my sense of reason that tells me that. Now we have what? … designer abortion. I am so confused.

  20. This is what happens when you open the gates of all the mental institutions, than give the nuts special treatment.
Like quotas to Universities. Mainstreaming the insane.

  21. Do they realize when they are old, alone and sick who is going to put up with them? I mean it would be tough on their kids but guilt is a powerful tool.
Piss off may be all they have to look forward to.
    What goes around comes around.

  22. As some of you may know, I collect blog quotes – some of you have contributed to my collection. Here is one comment from the davidthomsons collumn:
Suppose someone walks up to you a couple of years from now–or tomorrow, and says “It has been determined that an error occurred when you were born. YOU should have been aborted. WE are here to correct the error in that process. Do you have any final statement?”

  23. I’m going back to figuring out the US tax forms. It doesn’t hurt my head as much as trying to parse the statements in that article for any semblance of coherency.

  24. I..um…watched a part of the …um … video and …um… I couldn’t stand? the ….um … way that the person (trans gender man?) spoke? So I …um … stopped watching. From what I …um …saw, this person? belongs in a mental health institution?
